|2.85km from downtownThis is just my personal opinion, but after eating at a curry udon restaurant near the hotel, I got an upset stomach and went to a ******** parlor with clean toilets, where my luck was down. After that, they were holding a lottery, so I drew one and won a 55-inch TV, which made for a very memorable day.
The hotel was very clean and I slept soundly.

|1.54km from downtownThe location is great. Everything is nearby. A shopping haven and close to the bus terminal located at Oasis 21. Without luggage, it is a nice 5 to 10 minutes walk. We were recommended to a French Bakery (Kaneda), nearby for breakfast. It is the best croissant that we have tasted.
On the flipside, ithe toilet and shower space was a bit too tight. Would be great if they are separated as experienced in a hotel in Kyoto.
Overall, we had a great time and will definitely come back to this hotel.

|1.3km from downtownWhat surprised me most was that the bath floor was divided into two sections: tattoos allowed and not allowed. I guess it's annoying that not only foreigners but also ***** are hanging around. I wish they would write that when I made the reservation (or did I miss something?).

|2.1km from downtownThe room is clean and comfort. The bathroom is bigger than others hotel. Location of hotel is near the JR train station and subway but it might take times to get to Meitetsu line which is the line you use for access to airport. There are many restaurants nearby and many of them are open late. You can find food even if you came back to hotel late at night. Staffs are very nice and helpful. There’s a Lady’s Lounge on ladies floor which you can have free coffee and tea.

|1.65km from downtownThis hotel is in a great location, right in the Sakae shopping district. There are many department stores and famous shops nearby, and the transportation is also very convenient. It is very suitable for shopping. It takes only about an hour to get to Nagoya Chubu Airport from here, and you need to change buses once, which is quite convenient.
The hotel itself may have been open for a long time. Although it has been renovated, the room is still a little old.

|1.33km from downtown

|1.82km from downtownWhen I booked the hotel through the APP, I didn't notice that this B'S hotel has its own small shuttle bus outside Nagoya Station, which doesn't have many seats. In my impression, the shuttle bus between Nagoya Station and the hotel is available starting at 4 p.m. (no reservation required, first-come-first-served basis), and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Nagoya Station starting at 10 a.m. (you need to contact the hotel first for this journey) Reservation at the front desk), friends in need remember to check the time on the hotel's official website first.
The room is not big, a little bit old, and the cleanliness is average. It is still suitable as a place to rest during the trip. What is commendable is that guests staying here can use the large bath (including sauna room), rock bath (there are two of them, each can accommodate about 10 people), and massage chairs (there should be 8-10 people) for free. The women's bath is larger than expected and can accommodate more than a dozen people bathing at the same time. There is a large pool and a cold pool on one side, and there are 4 single-person hydromassage pools on the other side.
The hotel's free breakfast is very simple, with only a few types of bread, vegetable soup, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, and drinks.
Overall, it's a great value if you go for the hot springs and rock baths.

|1.26km from downtownI asked for two extra towels, but one of the staff members was rude and looked at me like I was suspicious, and only then told me that I had to pay extra, which was a bit disappointing. Everyone else was fine. Other than that, it was nice because the station was close by and the facilities were clean.

|4.64km from downtownFacilities: Some have three-eye stoves, all kinds of kitchen supplies, disposable cups, toilet paper 🧻 The seasoning is complete, but the refrigerator is a bit small and can't fit too much.
Hygienic: The cleaning is still very clean. Every day, bare feet 🦶 The soles of the feet are not gray. I found a 🪳 burned to death with boiling water in the pool.
Environment: The surrounding area is very quiet. I like this atmosphere. It feels like going home. Free and casual. No one disturbs.
Service: Contact me with the active message, but because it is self-service, there is no contact with others.
The last two pictures were taken when they left

|3.95km from downtownThe room is not small, a little bigger than similar business hotels, the window can be opened a little bit, the free breakfast is delicious, there are meals, eggs, sausages, coffee, bread, etc., there is a free shuttle bus to and from Kanayama Station, Kanayama Station is not far from the hotel, we walked there on the first day, toothbrushes and toothpaste are available in the hotel lobby on demand, there are small packages of DHC makeup remover lotion, there is a vending machine at the elevator entrance, Family Mart is opposite the hotel, and the sound insulation is good. Kanayama Station has Meitetsu and JR, which is convenient for travel. Next time I go to Nagoya, I will stay at this hotel again.

|2.02km from downtownClose to Nagoya Station, there are many restaurants and taverns around, so the location is very good. Toyoko Inn has the same room making everywhere in the country, and it is always well cleaned and you can stay with peace of mind. It's never luxurious or flashy, but you can have everything you need and you won't have any trouble. I think it's a reliable business hotel brand. Only one point: Please note that this hotel has a main building and a new building!

1. The room is relatively cramped, next to the toilet is the bed, the bed size is very small, if two people, sleep a bit crowded;
2. For breakfast, there is a variety of dishes, such as: vermicelli, fried noodles, curry rice, different styles of bread, there are different pickles, more vegetables, there are also bean curd soup and corn soup.
3. Environment Convenient location, close to the large shopping mall of railway and Rong station.

|1.57km from downtownThe location is quite convenient and easy to find. The front desk staff is very nice. Because I went to bed very late in the morning and found that the bed was not clean, I asked to change it and they were very proactive in solving the problem. It was very hard work 😢 The hair dryer and other things are a bit old, but they can be used. I am not picky, but the hygiene really needs to be improved. It is really a bit unpleasant for me. However, the window can be opened! This is very good, but it is facing the multi-story parking lot when it is opened, but it is okay. I feel that the carpet really needs to be cleaned!

|4.23km from downtownVery near Kanayama station & easy to find. Just head towards North exit/entrance of station (you’ll see Tully’s coffee) & you can see the big signage on top of hotel clearly. McDonald’s & Family Mart right below hotel & Lawson next to hotel. Impressive spread of toilettries including sachets of makeup remover, face wash, lotion & moisturiser, show caps, hairband, thermal eye mask, toothbrush, shaver, comb, etc. Provide bottled water in addition to kettle. There’s also a mini fridge. Plenty of eateries & pharmacy around the hotel, including a small supermarket across the hotel. Buffet breakfast is decent too. Overall very comfortable stay.

Nagoya
|2.76km from downtownThe hygiene of Japanese hotels is in place, without any peculiar smell, the towels are soft and clean, and every corner of the bathroom is very clean, without any old dirt. It can be seen that the ”gestures” and requirements of daily hygiene work are in place, and the quality of the housekeeper is excellent. It is not a bad choice to choose Toyoko Inn for accommodation in Japan. It is really close to the JR station, which is very convenient to catch the train and there is no problem dragging a few luggage. If you are considering the convenience of transferring to JR, this is the best choice. But if you choose Meitetsu, you have to live on the other side of the famous station. Breakfast is included, the quality is good, Western style, and there are also Japanese curry rice and miso soup. In terms of service, there is not much enthusiasm, but it is quite satisfactory. The only shortcomings are that the quilt is too hot (very thin, very warm, and comfortable to the skin). It is very good in winter, but it is a bit hot in spring and autumn. Second, the room is small, but this is a Japanese feature, unless you are not short of money and pay attention to spacious space. There is enough space to open a few boxes.

|2.13km from downtownOn my first day at the hotel, I decided to brave the 10-minute walk from Fushimi Station with my luggage. However, under the scorching summer sun, that seemingly short distance felt like an eternity. It was just too far! But here’s the twist: later on, we stumbled upon a bus route that conveniently connected the hotel directly to Nagoya Station. My advice to fellow travelers? Definitely explore the bus option—it can save you both time and sweat!
As for the hotel itself, the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The staff members were friendly and efficient. Our room boasted a good view, and it was spacious and tidy—a great fit for families.

|5.58km from downtownRun by a very kind old couple.
We will enter the room for cleaning every day (*if you mind, you may need to communicate)
After checking out on the last day, grandpa drove us to the station for a ride. He even wore a tie, which was really cute.
I highly recommend friends who come to Nagoya to stay here. You can get to the city by bus.
Here are things first-time movers need to pay attention to:
1. Since there are only two people in the hotel, grandparents, there will be access control, and no entry or exit is allowed from 00:00 to 06:30 the next day (the morning time is not sure).
2. There is a large bathtub in the public bathroom, where multiple people can take a bath together (I am not sure if there will be people I don’t know taking a bath together)

|2.08km from downtownTakes about 7 mins to reach the hotel from Nagoya station. Maybe mistook the bigger Tokyo Inn Building just beside each other, but honkan is the smaller one.
Even though the building is not the taller building, the single room that I managed to book was way more spacious than I had at Meitetsu Inn! There's amenities bar at the lobby with water to provide your basic necessities, especially the skincare pack which I'm very impressed with!
There are nearby cafeterias and convenient stores around so no problem with food. The mattress bed is indeed considered quite hard but I have no issues sleeping with hard beds so I can sleep really well. Room toilet is very small but compact with everything you need. Overall a great value hotel, and I managed to become a member of Toyoko inn 😜
