Although this hostel has comfortable beds with good curtains, it is highly unhygienic and we would not stay here again. It may be very cheap but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic cleanliness. There are 5 rooms per floor with on average 6 people per room. Which could imply that there are 30 people using the same communal bathroom per floor. We noticed that the bathroom had not been cleaned in two days and was found to be in revolting state with rubbish on the floor and nail clippings and hair from people shaving left in the sink for days. There were strange substances on the shower floor and I felt it necessary to shower with my flip-flops on. There was no toilet paper in the toilet and human excrement spread up the back of the toilet and left there. Furthermore there is no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. We can only assume that the staff are also not washing their hands before handling food at breakfast. The staff provide you with shampoo and body wash when you arrive and tell you that you can return it for a refill. However, when asked for soap they said they didn't have any. On the first night when we got back to the hostel, we noticed that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned and nothing was done. The following morning after noticing that it was still filthy, we asked again and they told us they would have someone look at it. By lunchtime it had reached an appauling state as it still had not been cleaned. I had to request to speak to a manager who told me to wait for five minutes. I am outraged at the blatant lack of care that the staff show people. After speaking to the manager, the toilets and sinks were cleaned but the showers were not until we asked again. At this stage they swept the floor with a brush and that was all. The room is smelly as it has no access to fresh air. The breakfast is basic with bread available to toast served on paper plates and tea or coffee in paper cups. The disregard for the current climate crisis is unacceptable, it is such a waste. All due to the laziness of the staff here. Furthermore when packing away breakfast, they do not wash the knives that everyone in the hostel has used, they wipe it with toilet roll and use it again the next day. We asked if we could wash our refillable water bottle and they told us that there was no sink and to wash it in the bathroom. This is highly concerning as we fear there is no way for them to wash the knives and bread container that the breakfast is served in. The girl behind the desk has an incredibly unnecessary poor attitude. We watched a gentleman arrive to breakfast at 10.01 and ask for more bread to toast. She stood up to get him some, realised the time and told him smuggly 'it's past 10'. She seemed to get great enjoyment out of starting to pack breakfast away immediately in front of him. Finally we were disappointed on arrival to discover that there is in fact no pool table at this hostel as is adve

Hotel was nice and in a good location. Walking distance to many places and plenty of public transport links. The rooftop area with tv was great for a chilled movie night. The staff were really good mannered and happy. Only downfall is that (im guessing due to lack of staff) the room wasnt cleaned once during our 6 night stay. We had to actually ask if we wanted fresh towels or toilet paper etc. But when the room was made up, they didnt actually clean floors/bathroom, make the bed nor change the sheets. Good thing we're not fussy guests! First world problems but still something you expect when on holiday. Other than that we liked the hotel. Could do with a touch up on the paint (chipped and grubby, quite a few ”unknown” substances on the wall above the bed lol). But initial presentation was really lovely and the rooftop area was our favourite part of the hotel. We would go back, these are just a few pointers for the hotel to fix!

Brand new hotel in the heart of KL! Very clean and stylish concept with good 24hrs security. Secured parking available for those who drives. Location is perfect. Easily accessible to all attractions and hip cafes & bars in Chinatown, Central Market, Merdeka Square, etc....room is very generous in space and ensuite bathroom is pretty impressive with option of rainshower and complete bath amenities. Self-service laundry is also available. At this price point, great value!

The location of the hotel is quite good. Chinatown is just across the road. It is a few hundred meters away from Independence Square. The lobby is nice and spacious. The rooms are average. Fortunately, the air-conditioning is open 24 hours. Only the lobby has WiFi rooms. The comment said that there is a Chinese front desk, which is no longer available, and all of them are foreign workers. I haven't even seen a Chinese person for 3 days, so if I can run to meet my compatriots

A small highly aesthetic boutique hotel with only 49 rooms that brands itself as a wellness 5 star hotel but falls short on practicality and service standards that you would expect from a 5 star property. Rooms are beautifully adorned and look pretty in pictures but in practice are inconvenient when in use. The bed is on a platform area which requires navigating up 3 steps which can be hazardous at night when trying to go to the bathroom. The TV is recently sized but it is far from the bed and it can't be moved any closer as it's fixed to the wall and not on an extendable mount. The bathroom partition is lined with wooden slats which allows in the cold air from the main room which results in freezing temperatures when exiting the bath. Was told the wrong timing for last call for breakfast as the timings are not the same for weekends and weekdays and was unable to be accommodated for breakfast, there was no attempt at service recovery from the staff. On the previous day on the weekend, another group had been left waiting almost an hour for their breakfast while everyone else was served due to a mix up in orders, even after they complained their orders were not expedited and others were still served before them, there was no attempt at service recovery for them either, not even a free coffee.

I booked this one in a rush, and didn't pay careful enough attention. The hotel is above some shops, and has an austere Soviet feel about the place. We got our rooms, which were next to each other. Before we opened the door, I could tell by the layout of the hotel that they wouldn't have windows. Sure enough they did not. They also smelled a bit. My daughter felt they smelled of damp, I felt they smelled of camphor (to kill bugs and insects), either way they were dark, dingy, unpleasant places. Not the sort of place you'd want to stay. I went back to reception, and after some negotiation, and a little extra money, we got moved to front rooms. Different floors, but one above the other. Gosh, what a difference. We looked out our windows and had Chinatown spread out in front of us - Jalan Hang Lekir leading to the crossing with Petaling Street. Around 100 yards along Jalan Sultan there is Modern Madness brewpub (which doesn't actually brew beer, but adds flavouring to beers they buy from the Napex brewery (Legend beers). We loved it here because of the location, and ending up with rooms with a view. If we had the rooms without no windows, we would have hated the place.

The room is very small, the facilities are very old, the shower is fixed on the wall, the water flow is small, in the city of thirty degrees, play back, want to take a refreshing cool is a luxury, the hotel does not have toiletries, need to Belt, fortunately, I like to go where to travel is to bring. Especially the room on the sixth floor was actually separated by splints, and it was audible to play next door. On the night of the check-in, in the middle of the night, the next-door guest had a rhinitis episode, and even three or forty sneezes were played continuously for more than half an hour. It was really depressed. Winning at a cheap price, the front desk service was very good, requested, immediately changed to the fifth floor, the room is still only enough for a bed and a TV station. However, the wall is made of cement bricks, but the sound insulation is still very poor. Friends who only care about the price are worth living. The Chinatown next to it seems to be very upscale. In fact, like the cheap market in China, it feels like it. Need to communicate in Chinese, Malay-style English as a supplement, but the Malay accent is too heavy, it is really difficult to understand. Instead, there is a ”5-element hotel” next door, which should be much higher than the Nanyang Hotel, which is suitable for domestic tourists. The price is more expensive, probably RMB 150/standard room. The doorway is the “double-day tour” bus stop. The station has relevant information URLs. It is recommended to log in to the website to purchase tickets. It is 10 MYR cheaper than the hotel ticket (the hotel costs 55 MYR). This kind of day trip double-decker bus, I suggest you take a lap before deciding which stations to get off at. I just look at the map to choose where to get off the bus, and then go to the next bus. The strength proves to be stupid, because the travel map is completely different from the concept of the map street. In many cases, the one-day tour route is separated by five or six stations. The address may be just across the road.

The boss is Bengal, gentle and friendly. I need to take off my shoes when I go in. The inside is clean. There is always a Malay aunt cleaning it, but the mattress is really old, a little dirty, the pillows are black, and I have n’t washed it in N years. Yes, but if you do n’t mind, put on a bed cover and pillowcase. I slept well and did n’t feel any odor. The bathroom was clean. The room is always air-conditioned, and the air is okay, but it is not convenient to change clothes without getting curtains. Breakfast in the morning is relatively simple, just bread. Backpackers from various countries often talk there over the small balcony, which is fun and can make foreign friends. It is close to these famous attractions such as the Petronas Twin Towers and the mosque, and it is within walking distance. There is also a culture and art market around, and you can buy all kinds of souvenirs. Of course, there is no cheaper than Ibara Street, but they are all very beautiful. In short, if you don't have such high requirements for the environment, and want to make friends and visit Kuala Lumpur, you can try it here.

The hotel is in a very strategic location but gives an old hotel vibe when I reach the corridor. Cleanliness at the corridor could be improved as I saw bits of paper on the floor, chair and door mat outside my room. The 4 lifts available are also quite slow. However, the room I stayed in was clean, the staff was courteous and free parking is available.

easily get 5/5. My room was a studio room. Very spacious, very clean. The water in the shower was very fast and the scenery of klcc was the highlight. Tv got astro channel on it. Amenities of the room is complete. Got knife, sponge, cutlery, plate everything is complete. Very good 👍 will come to this hotel again The breakfast was ok only. Nothing too impress. And lastly, this hotel need to improve on the checkin and checkout process. Its take 30min to checkout. Very slow. The front counter Should take example from royale chulan. Very neat and fast. Thats all. So overall experience is 4.5/5.

Location of the hotel is convenient. Opposite is the Pavilion Mall. Along the road side at night able to Lok Lok food stall for supper. At the 5 - 8 mins walk able to find 7-11 store. Disappointed on the service as below : 1) 1 of the room the next day need to change to family room. When going down to the front desk. The lady said the room was not ready have to wait till 1500hrs. 1530hrs I went down again and asked. She said once ready will call me and just walk away. Till 1845hrs, I don’t receive any call from after I complain to Trip.com. 2) The staff said called me a few times but can’t get me. From my phone record I don’t receive any Malaysia call on that day. I only received call from Trip.com. I’m angry on the staff not being honest and telling lies. 3) As a hotel guest : Firstly, parking need to paid. Okay, I don’t know why. Secondly, no parking lot for hotel guest. I booked 3 rooms yet 3 of our cars NO PARKING LOT!!! I hope the hotel General Manager can explain can use WhatsApp to call me back and explain.

Took 1+1 suite. One king room and a single bed room. The king room has attached bathroom. The single room is very compact with room for the bed and a cupboard. Another toilet is just next to it. There is a shower within but there is no hot water supply to this toilet. So don't understand why there is a shower. No one would want to bathe in cold water. There are 2 wide tv screens one in the room one in the hall with access to youtube and Netflix. The suite comes with a kitchen with utensils, cups, glasses l, kettle, microwave and a induction stove. They provide coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. There is also a washer/dryer and they gave laundry detergent. Iron board, iron, hair dryer, safe, bathrobes, slippers are all provided. There is also a fridge and they gave us complimentary water and soft drinks. Room service came everyday and cleaned up very well. However, the white fabric sofa was not very well maintained it had stain and dirt marks all over. My kids did not mind but it irked me. Hopefully they change it to PVC sofa for easier maintenence. If you need anything they are just a intercom button away. Breakfast is served at the 42nd floor did not visit it though. Their pool is awesome with jacuzzi but have to warn you the water is very cold. The building blocks the rising sun so the pool is shaded very well but the water is cold. They have a pool for kids and an infinity pool for adults. The depth is not too deep my 7 year old son could still stand in it with his head up. There are sofas and lounge chairs to relax at the poolside. Changing room and toilets are available. The only complaint I have is the sewer stench that lingers in the toilet and it was worst in the swimming pool changing room. For the room we had to keep the door closed and the fan extractor on to reduce the stench. Hopefully the hotel could fix this issue. The other thing is the hotel is located up a hill. So the walk to the main road is uphill/downhill but the hotel provides a buggy service to get you to the main road. From there Pavilion mall is about a 5 to 8 min walkaway. Due to its location expect jams around the surrounding main roads. But if you love to walk then Pavillion, Fahrenheit 88 and other shopping malls are easy to access. KLCC is also walkable if you don't mind the distance. Otherwise you can GRAB. They also provide a shuttle service but did not utilise. There are 2 fixed timing for the shuttle service if I recall. If you expect to see the Petronas towers you would be disappointed as there is a new building that blocks it. But we could see one tower and the top of the KL tower. Overall, we like our stay, hopefully the hotel fixes all the minor issues we encountered.

The hotel lobby is grand looking but the room look a bit old (vintage) but all is in good condition. The only 2 complaint are on the plug and the lightings. there is too limited plug/switch maybe this is old building, 1 at boiling water table, 1 beside bed (foot side), 1 more at table using extension of 3. For lighting, the room is too dark for reading which I think can improve. The staff are helpful and the room is clean. The sound proof is good enough you won't hear the noise fr door and on street.

We have stayed in many hotels in KL near Pavilion mainly, but we never tried any service apts. For this trip, we did not planned to stop by KL, but we had detour to KL unexpectedly. This time we decided to try The Face Suite and we booked this place just 2 hours before we reached KL. to be honest, this place exceeded our expectations. Upon checking in we were informed that we are not allowed to leave rubbish outside the apt. If it needs to be cleared, call up the front desk to get it settled. This ensures that the walkway to any apt were clean and a pleasing sight. The rooms were huge, we loved it. There was also a washer + dryer in the room, which helped alot as we had been travelling from 2 different states. We love everything in the apartment and we feel that this place might be our choice the next time we visit KL again.

Check in early around 9am and had to pay an extra RM174 (should have made known before hand though), no choice had to pay and check in. Room was spacious clean and cozy, really love the vibes in the room. If you are driving, the only way is valet parking by the hotel staff, which can take quite long when you want to retrieve it (around 15-20mins waiting time). Maybe grab better? Traffic is quite bad at some areas in KL. There’s a charge for parking as well, not much. Oh, really love the toiletries smell by magonsteen. Enjoy the 1 day stay in the hotel, will definitely come back again.
