I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport around 2 a.m. and had to go to Krabi Airport again early the next morning, so I booked it as a hostel near the airport. There was no toilet in the room, but there was no inconvenience because there was a separate toilet for the room! The sound of the plane is a bit noisy when I sleep, but I prepared an earplug and slept. The taxi service to the airport the next morning is a friendly owner's wife drives and takes you directly.

Room is average, just suitable for quick overnight stays before heading to the airport. Don't expect any amenities as the price is very affordable. Water is only lukewarm and the dryer in my room doesn't even work. I didn't complain as I was just there for a few hours.

If you have a late arrival or early morning departure from suvarnabhumi airport then it's really good choice only 15 min drive from the airport even with the traffic, the surroundings is a bit steep especially if you are arriving at night but they provide you with complimentary snacks in the room (tea, coffee, water, chips, biscuits and instant noddles ) which will do the job. Perfect for few hours sleep but not for staying for days

We are a fairly demanding couple and had booked a night here just to be close to the airport before a flight the next morning. On this point, the location is perfect. The hotel is really close, which makes it convenient for an early departure. The room is spacious enough for two people and has all the essential amenities: air conditioning, fridge, hairdryer, well-placed sockets, etc. However, several points disappointed us. Access to the rooms is via a freight elevator located right next to the trash room, which is frankly unpleasant. Inside, the hotel smells good and is rather well maintained, but this detail of the entrance leaves a bad impression. The king-size bed is actually made up of two single beds pushed together, which is not the most comfortable. In addition, our sink was clogged when we arrived. Fortunately, the reception staff was very responsive and quickly found a solution. For a transition night before a flight, it does the trick: it is practical and efficient. On the other hand, for a longer stay, I do not recommend it. And even for one night, if you like a minimum of comfort and attention to detail, this is not the ideal place. It is an acceptable choice if you are just looking for a bed before taking the plane, but no more. Finally, if you want to go to the center of Bangkok from the hotel, plan between 45 minutes and 1h20 by Grab depending on traffic. A good tip: walk 20 minutes to the nearest metro station, it will be much faster.

The accommodation will be in the alley in front of the accommodation. There is a shabu restaurant as well. The bedroom is nice. It's only 3 kilometers from the airport. Food can be ordered and eaten in the room. The room doesn't have an elevator. You walk up there yourself. There are only 2 floors. The room looks very clean. The room was clean and looked new. The location was great, with easy access to food—just a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven. There was also a shuttle service to the airport. The front-of-house staff were friendly and easy to talk to. However, the bed was rather firm, and the room had a connecting door to the adjacent room (occupied by someone I didn’t know). At one point, that door was opened from the other side without my knowledge. And also always have noise when people walk through your room.

I was staying in 130 Hotel & Residence for 5 days, initially when booking, we were told only 2 day breakfasts are included, but when we checked in at the hotel they gave us 5 day voucher for breakfast, we were pleased for that. The service is great, everyone are welcoming and helpful, location was also good, there are cafe Amazon next to the hotel, and other traditional or bistro cafes nearby, the best thing was 7/11 right next to the hotel. Only thing at night it was a little loud outside due to traffic and cars. Overall it was a great experience, hope to come back soon.

The hotel is located close to shopping centers and a metro station, which is very convenient. The beds in our room were very wide. The TV had the ability to watch YouTube, Netflix 👍. There was also a separate shower and a separate bath. The room also has a small refrigerator, a kettle and 4 bottles of water. We could not open the safe. We also liked that the pool is open until 22:00, you can come in the evening and swim before going to bed. There is a beautiful view of the city from the pool, but the pool itself is small and not deep. Hot water, tea, and coffee are always available near the reception. At night, you could clearly hear the noisy neighbors through the door who came in after a walk. The food in the cafe on the 8th floor was delicious and inexpensive, the hotel staff are polite and try to help and advise. Room cleaning is done upon request. I wish that the pool area would be even better improved (especially the walls), and that they would monitor the cleanliness of the glass partitions through which you can see the city and eliminate the unpleasant smell from the air conditioner. Overall the hotel is ok, we could stay there again.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay at Shan Hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a complimentary ice pop, which was the perfect refreshing treat for the hot Bangkok weather. Although the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the city center, they offer a convenient shuttle bus service every hour, making it easy to get around. Alternatively, taking a taxi using Grab to popular spots in Bangkok is also very convenient. The fare typically ranges from 130 baht to 300 baht, depending on your destination. My only suggestion for improvement would be to provide better lighting for applying makeup, as well as an additional mirror outside of the bathroom for added convenience. To top off my wonderful stay, I even received a thoughtful gift for good luck and fortune when I checked out—a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable. Overall, I absolutely loved my time at Shan Hotel and the exceptional hospitality I received. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The hotel is also right in the street of an up and coming area getting filled with lovely restaurants and coffee shops and new bars perfect for Instagram pictures. Would reccomend! Clean and has pretty much everything you need like a hairdryer and a fridge. Only thing is the bathroom toilet bowl is too cramped, i had to sit sideways when using the toilet bowl 🤣 another thing is the aircon exhaust is located inside the toilet, so there will be hot air blowing out when the aircon is on. But i see this as a good thing because the hot air is effective in drying my clothes, i even washed my backpack and hung it up and it dried overnight 👍🏻
