      I love how the place is in the middle of town, many shops were around there, near to aeon, easy access to road, very strategic. have no complaint for the cleanliness and customer service, i was satisfied, the staff are helpful too. the hotel smells nice. the only downside there’s no place to hang clothes in the room, bc i booked the cheapest one maybe, the towel can be hung inside bathroom though.

      A nice and clean budget hotel, I would say perfect for a single night stay. Staff are very friendly and room is clean and well upkeep. Water heater isn’t working well and bit noisy for facing the Mookata restaurant which opened till 5AM.

      The service is okay, the food is okay, the facilities need to be improved, and the switch on both sides of the glass window in the room is missing! Outside the window is flat ground. Spider-Man can come in as long as you open the glass window. I have taken the photo and only confiscated it. Save some face for the hotel and check it out by myself!

      I basically booked this hotel due to it's cool room decor when browsing online. I think it's an average hotel, but even average hotel shouldn't be that dusty. Even the bathroom isn't that clean. Since we checked in late, we just happened to realize that it's so dusty the day after. Which is the day we checked out. Will probably book this hotel again but hopefully they've changed by then.

      This type of budget hotel itself is very low in price and does not include breakfast. Going out is a lot of snack stalls in the night market. In the morning, you can have breakfast at a cafeteria stall called 崴崴. It is very cheap to have a pork-baked bag of bean paste and bulk coffee. There is a canteen called the emperor rice similar to the Chinese one. Large dining hall, affordable and suitable. There are also Chinese restaurants across the bridge, and there are many stalls like the noodles wonton noodles. You can try it!

      The location is strategic, in the middle of JB city, easy access to mall, near to KFC and food place. Service provided is good, but the receptionist during check in was not really friendly to me. Room is clean, tidy and big. However there is some problem in bathroom. The water on the floor was stuck and not flow to the floor drain. Overall my vacation at Thistle Hotel was great 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

      Abit disappointed in the check in process. The booking number given by trip. Com does not reflect to the home stay owner. End up long waiting (2 hr) and miss the time for the night market. Lucky the lady in trip.com provide me the right number and manage to check in. Thank you Ms Phoebe. If you want to book this room again remember to take the referral number and not hotel booking number.

      Hotel room very clean, pillows are good (1 firm n 1 soft). Room cleaners are very helpful n hardworking. Breakfast spread is basic and really appreciate the egg station. There were many tourists and only one chef at the egg station to meet all the needs. If there is another helper will be ideal! Only one thing is the room is not sound proof so if someone talk noisily it can affect those in the room. We were affected by some Vietnamese tourists who arrived late at night and they talked loudly. Have to request they lower their volume but they still rattle on! Got a cake because it’s holiday inn Express birthday!

      The location is 5 to 10min walk from the main road which has many nearby restaurants especially the Century street food court more youngster option and as well as behind more local delights . . The KSL shopping mall is just right beside and there is a door just 1 minute walk to the shopping mall. Every Monday 5 to 10m, Night bazaar on Monday is just a 5 min walk from the hotel. I love this place, there is a direct public bus from JB Sentral for just less than Rm1.50 and easy to hunt foods

      Good location as its near causeway checkpoint. Also nearby KSL & plaza pelangi. Nearby hotel there's lok lok too. Cleanliness of room is not too bad, but the sink is kinda stuck! Toilet paper has not been refilled and there's no extra. Like that there's water dispenser in the room and netflix & youtube is available on the tv.

      Hotel overall is a good place to live at. I stayed there twice in the same month. Near city centre and security seems good. Parking ample. Room for kids to play around is also a good bonus. 1 issue is time taken to deliver baby cot. Need to make sure to highlight the need to expedite else cot may take awhile to arrive. Next issue is hotel needs to take a look at their water pressure issue. Different floors different water pressure. Understand it is a pressure issue but it also means different living experience for the guests.

      Ambiance/Facilities - kitchen amenties in room, Pool, Gym Highlights - Large clean apartment with Amenities Avg. Price/night - S$45! Rating - This was our 2nd stay after 3 years of COVID. The one bedroom apartment was maintained just the way we last stayed: Spacious living area with l-shaped couch and basic kitchen amenties, comfy cosy bedroom with shower. Entire apartment was clean and really nothing to nit-pick about! On 33A level there's clean swimming pool overlooking City Square mall and its vicinity, as well as gym(a few machines was faulty though and cannot be utilised). Lots of food choices across street to Komtar jbcc or City Square. Overall a superb enjoyable stay and highly recommended to family, couples irregardless given its slim Priceline(we booked ours at $45/night)!
