When I get into the room, the room is quite small, what a little shock is that the bathroom is like a boat and a little shiny, the room is a little light, the window is very dim. Unfortunately, if there is a sound in the hallway of the room, it's very shocking inside so it's like awake. By the way, the breakfast is very good for a budget hotel like this, complete, a little more classy than other hotels in Rajasthan at the same price.

I have been in Indonesia SinceDec 15, stayed in many Hotels.. some good some bad but as disgusting. total complete lack of care by Staf from ” housekeeping” .. clean sheets really do not help poor condition of room. this goes beyond Housekeeping all the way to top management.. the following words are from the Manager of a Hotel i frequent who was in shock at the photos [2/11, 10:29 AM] Deddy: Where hotel is that? We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, I can say, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if I say that Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta staff is the friendliest among other hotels I have visited. You should try to stay in this hotel, you will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, the breakfast at this hotel is below what I expected, western food has not many choices and the taste is mediocre, there are many kinds of Indonesian food, I think this hotel is trying to highlight Indonesian flavors, but I feel that only a handful of Indonesian dishes are delicious in my opinion, namely Bakmie Bangka, Batagor and Gorengan (mendoan and bakwan vegetables), the soto was a disappointment. However, I still feel satisfied staying at this hotel, because it has friendly staff and comfortable beds

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

Enjoyed stay here throughly. Very pleasant service staff and facilities are all new. Room was really comfortable and everything worked really well. Sofa can be a little old and stained but not a problem cos we don’t sit on it as much. Can’t stay much of the location as we just took a cab everywhere but lots of gojek food options around. Will highly recommend anyone to stay here

Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

The hotel is near to the Train Station, but the window sound proofing is poor. We cannot sleep the whole night, due to constant beeping sound of the train preparing to leave. It is a sharp beeping sound that goes on the whole night. Even when it stop, you can still hear it play back in your mind. Our facing is facing their pool, and sound from the pool, even conversation at wee hours of the night can be heard in our room. Service Personnel are helpful and nice

Good location within 2 minutes walk to Malioboro Street, which is extremely popular with the locals. We stayed at this Novotel because of rave reviews mostly in Google and other sites that Malioboro street is “the place” in Jogja. But don’t expect much if you are an international /western tourist. I will write a separate review on Malioboro Street next. This review is about Novotel. It is a nice hotel. An ideal location to get started in Jogja if you’ve never been here before. We arrived late on our first night, which means we had only 1 full day in this area, which we found is more than enough in this area. I will explain why in my Malioboro Street review. We like everything about this hotel. The staff, the service, the room, the rooftop bar and swimming pool located on level 10. The best is the price. Great value for money for the 2 nights inclusive buffet breakfast, which was 2,555,501 rupiah booked through Accor. But don’t expect much from the buffet breakfast. It was limited in choice. Mostly cater for Indonesian. Good enough for a short stay.
