With the mentality of going to Bali and staying in Villa, I decided to set kunja. I didn't have too high expectations, but I was completely surprised when I stayed. You can feel the enthusiastic service of the staff throughout the stay, cleaning twice a day, delicious breakfast and afternoon tea made in person, chocolate cakes and Christmas tree cookies received on Christmas day, and free shuttles waiting at any time when you go out Let us feel at home. The sanitation of the villa is also very good, it is hard to imagine that during the two days of the stay, there were no mosquito bites at all, and almost no insects were seen in the villa. Overall, kunja is truly a home away from home hotel, without too luxurious hardware, but you will definitely fall in love with it.

Consider the following before booking with this property: cleanliness, comfortability, value and staff. All of these would be ZERO stars if I could give it so one star it is. The pictures are deceiving and was probably acurrate when they first opened. All the NEGATIVE REVIEWS are TRUE. Don't let the somewhat decent overall rating fool you and your rational side taking the negatives as a mixed review along with the positives like I did. More like a two star than a four star hotel. Upon entering our room, it was musty and had a weird smell. Downstairs is an open area where the living area spills into the private pool. Sounds great, right? It would've been if the pool was clean and walls weren't moldy. The bedroom was upstairs where the door was kept closed so mosquitoes and other insects couldn't ”get in.” We felt a rush of hot air and more unflattering smells when we opened the door. There's no circulation in the room! The light switches are FILTHY, weird stains (possibly blood), mold all over the bathroom tiles and chipped mirrors. To top it off, the room was so dimly lit, we felt like we were in an eerie thriller movie. It's not an exaggeration to say we didn't want to touch anything because we couldn't trust the cleanliness of the room. To top it off our balcony door wouldn't fully close as there's a gap due to poor construction so we weren't surprised when there were a few mosquitoes hanging out with us. What did we just pay for?? Originally we booked this place for three nights, but it was so bad that we were willing to take the loss and find another place. We were hoping we could get a partial refund, but of course their customer service was as bad as their place. NO REFUNDS no matter what. ”It's their policy.” Okay fine, we were mentally prepared for this...BUT here's the kicker. They asked us to sign a letter stating we were declining a refund and not allowed to leave a negative review. Excuse me? We're not declining a refund, you're not giving an option for one and we can leave an honest review if we want. He tried to pressure us, but we refused stating they were able to make more money since our room is now available for two nights and it's within our right to write what we want. THIS IS NOT ETHICAL and I want people to know this property is inaccurately advertising their rooms and practicing unethically. If they do this to you, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN. Prior to them showing us the document, they did offer to drive us to our new hotel, which was 5 mins away. That was the only ”upside,” but wish we didn't agree to that because it was an awkward ride since we declined signing.

The best thing is the attitude of the waiter and the kind of shuttle car that the hotel has to offer to go to the market. When you check out, ask us if we need a bath or something. If it is breakfast, it is ordering. Muffin cake also gave me four really good hotels for five stars, the Chinese people basically do not check, when we are Japanese, haha also sent honey moon cake

This hotel is exactly what we had hoped for. It has real Balinese character and is surrounded by tall trees, ponds and a large pool with a swim up bar. Extremely relaxing surroundings. Yet one that is only a short 5 min walk away from the restaurants, shops and lively Seminyak streets. Breakfast had western and Indonesian options and changed a little each day. Freshly cooked eggs made to order. The staff and service were perhaps the stand-out! Extremely friendly, helpful and warm. The epitomy of hospitality! Friendly greetings at all times, we had the pool access room. The bed was one of the best we've slept in. The shower over the bath wasn't our cup of tea. The room was clean but the bed facing tv didn't work. Once off the main road it was quiet but the night club next door roared to life at midnight. . The breakfast was sensational and varied slightly each day. After hours meals and room service was very accommodating. The fridge was not the greatest in keeping thing chilled but adequate. The pool (the longest I've seen) with a hidden waterslide was lovely and views from the top pool and deck was special

Beautiful hotel. The building, gardens, ocean view, swimming pools, foods and everything. Perfect. I love the main gate they have. Perfect spot for taking pic. The front desk senior staff helped us. More training needed for junior staff. Try to eat in tamarind and order their risotto with scallop. Yummy.

The villa is not well prepared for my family staycation. We had broken tv, bathroom electricity black out at one of the room. Super slow internet even just to watch the Netflix. Not recommended for digital nomad out there. Living room quite dusty and got kinda moldy roof smell when we turn on the fan. Really need to improve the service quality especially for local guest.

Staff is really friendly and respectful. The location is in the main road so you won't be able to enjoy anything in a walking distance however all beaches are 5km away from the location. You can enjoy by renting a scooter from nearby areas. I enjoyed dining at the hotel, they have local and western cuisines. Swimming pool may cost you extra buck if you want to swim. I stay with Aston properties before and I enjoy their service, so I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for affordable yet good service hotels in Bali.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

Great location, stones throw from the beach. Room was nice and spacious, didn’t miss a balcony. Breakfast wasn’t as good as expected, the milk & smoothies were left out, we tried a smoothie and it had go sour. Would book again it hasn’t put me off. The pool on the roof is definitely its best feature. And the restaurant choice on an evening on the beach is something completely different and special.

It’s the perfect place if you have an early flight - with the most comfortable bed!! Everything is nice and clean and the people are amazingly friendly. I loved how helpful and kind they all were. It’s not at the best location, as Bali has tooo many other beautiful beaches and this hotel is not situated at one of those beautiful beaches. Other than that, I can’t complain at all. I had a great evening there with an early morning flight. The hotel shuttle to the airport was free and they packed a lovely breakfast for me to take to the airport since I left too early to get breakfast at the hotel.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua! The service provided was impeccable, starting off with an upgrade to an ocean view room when our pool view room was undergoing maintenance upon our arrival, followed by complimentary fruit and chocolates as another apology, along with a chocolate cake and bed decorations for our anniversary. All staff members were so friendly, helpful and approachable throughout the whole week of our stay. Also nice to see that feedback forms are actually acknowledged and acted upon very promptly (unlike other places) as we made a simple suggestion for the breakfast to include avocado and hollandaise sauce and the next two days staff members offered us specially cooked eggs benedict with avocado. Cannot fault a single thing about our experience and without a doubt will be back to stay in the future! Special mention to duty manager Geksa who frequently checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable!

Movenpick is a beautiful hotel and was our final stop on our two-week stay between Bali and Lombok. We were initially booked into the wrong room (twin, not double) but this was sorted immediately. Good selection at the breakfast buffet but I do think the hotel is missing a trick by not cooking fresh crepes for guests. All the little touches made the stay great. We were a bit let down that service was slow and it was a struggle to find two sun loungers, even when we were up early. For guests staying in the hotel after check out before getting picked up, the hotel provides a room to shower in. This can be booked at reception and is cleaned between uses. All in all, a lovely stay.
