|1.28km from downtownThe outside of the hotel doesn’t prepare you for the stylish interiors, the reception is not only modern but very welcoming, the front of house staff were lovely. We booked the Mingle / Double Queen Room and the room was lovely, very clean and very hip, the bathroom was generous and again stylish with a normal sized hairdryer, complimentary shampoo & body wash, we could park on the property and the staff were helpful and very welcoming. Would certainly stay again.

|1.72km from downtownThe room and hallways were outdated and retro but still clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had a bizarre issue with the check-in where the front desk tried to tell us our reservation had been cancelled months prior, which was not true. We didn't cancel our reservation, and if they did on their end they never notified us of it. In fact, I was still receiving emails about checking in for my reservation the day before we arrived, so it was very stressful and confusing to get there and be told our reservation was cancelled months ago. Luckily they still had rooms for us, but still. Get your reservation and notification system sorted out.

|10.81km from downtownFood service stops at 10 pm, and doesn't open until 6:30 am, so you're told to Skip the Dishes if your flight gets you to the hotel even 10 minutes past the time their restaurant closes at 10 pm. Four hotels clustered in an industrial wasteland, and none of the others even have a restaurant. It's long hike (1 km) if you want something other than overpriced junk food to get to Tim Hortons - not something I was willing to do in the middle of the night on foot. Oh, and you'll pay through the nose for breakfast or dinner for mediocre food for breakfast or dinner- they aren't open for lunch - if you eat in the hotel. I didn't see any transit access, so unless you have a vehicle, there's nothing nearby.

|5.05km from downtownWe stayed here for 2 nights labour day long weekend in a king bed suite. There were so many little issues that if management cared to address them, would increase their rating and make the stay for guests so much better. First, we booked our room for 2 adults and 2 children, and still had to call down for more towels as only 2 was provided. We also had to call for bedding for the sofa bed as none was provided. It's like they didn't even look at our preferences or booking information to prepare the room accordingly for us. Second, it was just chaotic and unorganized. There was no parking at all when we would return in the evening. No parking in the underground garage and no parking outside. For both nights, we had to go to the front desk at which point, the manager would try and tetris all the excess vehicles into whatever possible spaces she could find. The breakfast area was overcrowded and dirty. Overflowing garbage bins, coffee ran out by 9:30am, then ran out of napkins, forks, etc. Not well prepared at all. What also didn't make sense was the made to order station. What a waste of staff when they are already clearly understaffed. It seemed like an attempt to control the consumption of their protein selection for the day eg. bacon or sausage. On our first morning, the made to order breakfast was bacon and egg croissant breakfast sandwiches. On the 2nd morning, it was an avocado and egg mcmuffin with a side of sausage. They should just have these all premade and out along with the rest of the buffet. Then you wouldn't need someone to staff that made to order station and just have them help out with the rest of the buffet by ensuring that tables are wiped, garbages are emptied, coffee and utensils etc are replenished. Third, for a hotel at pretty much capacity that weekend, they had one working elevator. There wasn't even a sign for the broken one, but you can tell that it was out of service since there was no light. We ended up using the stairs since the wait time for the elevators was ridiculous. Also, it looks like they are trying to update a few things as noted by all the plastering and painters tape. Yet we didn't see anybody working on these issues and overall, it was just an eye sore. Honestly, unless things improve, we would not stay here again. On the positive side, the room was spacious.

|5.01km from downtownThis was a quick stop over hotel for us and we had no expectations. We were presently surprised at how nice our stay was. There was no shuttle from the airport but they have taxi vouchers to pay for your cab. The pool was the highlight as it was a nice temperature and they have a huge slide! We had ana amazing dinner next door at the little Italy Garden (highly recommend). The room was clean and spacious. Che k in was quick. Breakfast was free and had a little of everything.

|5.62km from downtownOne of the least satisfying hotels I've been to lately. We stood in the lobby for more than 5 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in (there was no bell or anything). The staff was very quiet and meek while checking us in. The room was decent - it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool wasn't very warm, and the hot tub was anything but. I couldn't even get warmed up. The towels had to be requested at the front desk, and it wasn't even open until 9 am, which makes getting a swim in before leaving difficult. The breakfast was ok, but being an airport hotel, it was very busy. Having only 2 waffle makers made for long waits. I think the pancake machine would be better suited for the location. Overall the hotel was pretty dingy, and I will be skipping over it when coming through Calgary.

|0.66km from downtownDid not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. You can see Calgary Tower when you go out. It takes about five or six minutes to walk.

|1.16km from downtownReally nice stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and tidy, and it was nice to have the kitchenette and fridge available. The furniture, fittings and fixtures are modern, I quite enjoyed it. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. There's a mix of hot and cold foods for a hearty breakfast. The elevators were a bit inconvenient. During morning/evening it was often a 5-10 minute wait for an elevator. Normally I would take the stairs, but not from the 15th floor. Would definitely stay again, great location to walk or drive from.

|9.18km from downtownMore than 10 minutes drive from the airport, I immediately called the hotel shuttlebus when I got off the plane. After waiting for more than an hour, I still couldn't see the trace and finally I could only call the hotel to the hotel for 17 Canadian dollars. Call the hotel three times during the period, the answer is not waiting for a while they are going to check with the driver. When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I said that the driver had been waiting there. I firmly answered the impossible. I have never seen the car coming. Later, I said that the car had a problem and eventually compensated for a breakfast coupon. It’s ridiculous to let the guest wait an hour on such a cold day and lie. Although the hotel is new and the interior space is large, I will not book it again next time. The next day I booked the shuttlebus, but I was late, and I was disappointed.

|6km from downtownWe recently stayed at this hotel for the Canadian Ringette Championships. Charlyn (Asst Mgr) and her team were great to work with from start to finish. We had two teams and families staying at the hotel during the 9 day tournament. They opened their boardroom space for the teams to enjoy the Virtual Opening Ceremonies, which was the perfect space for the teams to show their Team Spirit and celebrate the opening of the tournament. Wendy and her team in the breakfast room were amazing each morning. Wendy welcomed the girls each morning with a smile and would get the girls pumped up for the days games. She truly made it feel like she was welcoming you into her home! The hotel was gracious enough to allow the teams to use the breakfast room for team lunches and dinners. This was just another way they showed their Calgary hospitality! The rooms were clean, the lobby area is welcoming and has coffee and tea available all day. There are a lot of restaurant options nearby (Milestones, Earls, Joey's) and quick, easy access to all parts of the city. Thanks so much Charlyn and Wendy for hosting all of us!

There are shopping centers and Chinese supermarkets T&T not far from the surrounding area. There is some space on the edge of the hotel lobby. Free American breakfast is provided. Our suites include two separate queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, the kitchen is connected to the living room, the living room has a sofa bed (suitable for one person), the kitchen provides a refrigerator, microwave and required cookware and cutlery, and seasonings - salt and pepper. Facilities, furniture and decoration are a bit old, but they are all very useful.

|3.22km from downtownI stayed at Amenida Residences Calgary on August 26 and had a very positive experience. The room was impeccably clean, and the bed was comfortable, providing a restful stay. The staff demonstrated a high level of hospitality and attentiveness. I was particularly impressed by the general manager, who personally called me shortly after check-in to ensure that everything met my expectations. This level of service is commendable. I look forward to staying here again and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

|5.53km from downtownThis hotel not only met our expectations but surpassed them! All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The guest room is well appointed with a very comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, large screen tv, comfortable chair, a desk area, and large windows with blackout drapes. Slippers and robe are thoughtfully provided. The bathroom has a marble like surround with walk in shower. The vanity area has a large top. Hairdryer and makeup mirror supplied. Water pressure is great and the toilet even has a bidet. The property has a charming outdoor garden/patio area. The pool temperature is warm. The hot tub temperature is great, but is a bit on the small side. There is a well equiped gym for guest use. This hotel is truly a gem!

|5.54km from downtownA really unwelcoming receptionist was on duty when I checked in. Grumpy and used unfriendly tone when we discussed. The room was quite big, but what an awful filthy floor! The carpet on the floor was full of dog hair and generally smelly. The bed was ok, but it was not evenly leveled between left and right side. I almost fell of the bed on one side. The bathroom was ok with hot water. The wifi was strong. The breakfast was just a sandwich, a donut and a juice. That's all. Cheap stay for a hotel, but not for a demanding guest.

Calgary
|4.93km from downtownI stayed here for four nights in October, and found it to be comfortable and well put together. The room was clean and not worn or dirty. Beds were comfy with good linens. Towels were quite good. Amenities, meh. Enough, but the smell wasn't to my taste. I had a queen suite on the 6th floor--with views of the transit station and very distant mountain views--at a reasonable price. Quite spacious, and actually would've been good for a family--two queen beds and a sofa bed, plus small fridge/microwave/coffee pod machine. I requested partial housekeeping service--they replaced my towels and took the garbage every day, and I never saw them. I also appreciated that the room had enough LIGHT. So tired of glum-looking hotel rooms with a couple of lamps with weak bulbs. With regard to covid, we were asked for proof of vaccination at check in, and were told that we could then access amenities such as the pool and breakfast room. That's the law at this point, and I was glad to be asked. On the first morning, the breakfast area felt controlled and safe (I saw one small party moving around the room unmasked, but it was quiet and I was able to keep my distance). On the second morning (a Saturday), the place was VERY full, with lots of people not using masks, lots of unmasked and unsupervised kids helping themselves at the food table. Kids gotta eat, but parents should be helping and making sure they do so in a sanitary way (this is not unusual, but covid makes it worse). There was NO ONE controlling the room, no pretense of verifying that the people there were actually the ones who could prove vaccination status. (I actually saw one guest walking around barefoot--which is not a particular covid risk but is just gross.) Could they not code the room cards for access or no access and then code the breakfast room (and pool) to match? Wouldn't be perfect--someone's going to slide in behind someone else at some point--but it would be better. Also I know these places hate to see you carry food back to your room, but under the circumstances, a few trays to make it easier would be appreciated by those of us who prefer not to spend time with those who prefer not to follow the law.

|1.12km from downtownWe had the most amazing stay in late July. We booked a stay as our first stay before our birthday trip to Banff to explore Calgary. We used points the redeem for a night. Upon some email exchanges prior to the stay, I was given the option to pay to upgrade to club level which offers lounge access with breakfast and evening refreshments. Pam Doulson and Ava at the front desk are very sweet and kind. After learning it is for a birthday celebration, they kindly sent up a surprise birthday treat along with a nice upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for our party with 3 adults and 1 kid. The room is spotless and roomy with 2 washrooms and 3 tvs. Instead of exploring the city, we ended up just enjoying the hotel and spending time at the pool with the most amazing water slide according to the kids! The quality of the breakfast is fantastic and the club has a beautiful patio for pictures and relaxation. In conclusion, it is the best stay we had in recent years. So good that we are coming back again before leaving Calgary. Thank you Pam and Ava for making the stay so special and enjoyable for our 3 generations. We have stayed in higher end hotel like Shangrila/Fairmont in recent years but I would say I got the most responsive and friendly service here. I’d rather stay here than there. P.S. - the only think you should watch out for (if u have kids) is the glass door… my son was so excited that he ran into the glass and had a bump on his forehead…. I guess it shows how spotlessly clean the hotel is! 🤣

|0.94km from downtownGood location right downtown. On a one-way street so you have circle around if you miss the entrance. Front desk was well staffed for a Sunday afternoon and very friendly. Lobby is bright and clean. Plenty of elevators and card needed to access floors. Hallways are wide and well lit. I stayed in a corner junior suite which was large with ample seating. The windows are large for maximum sunlight. There is a large balcony and sliding door with double locks. Full room darkening curtains but no light filtering shades for daytime privacy. My room was quiet (9th floor, furthest from elevator) and the HVAC is electronic with fanless covered radiators. Bedside wall lamps and floor lamps to give lots of lighting options. Decor is nice with lots of natural wood surfaces and ample drawers. The TV has a good menu with PPV available. Mini fridge and single serve coffee maker included but no microwave. The bathroom is very large and bright. Huge counter space. The large counter mirror has a built-in TV which is high-tech and useful. This has its own remote and separate from the main TV. There is a bench and wall hooks. The closet with hangers, safe and ironing board is within the bathroom area. There is also a wide full-length mirror in the bathroom. The shower is a walk-in with glass sliding doors. The shower is long but narrow. The wall-hung bottles are located exactly where you would stand and makes an already narrow shower even more narrow. I hope they relocate these to the opposite wall for better clearance. A grab bar and 2 wall shelves in shower for convenience. The textured wallpaper is really beautiful. A large sliding door is thick for privacy. Extras include (but not guaranteed): electric humidifier, complimentary bottled water, spare toothpaste, cotton swabs, 2 robes, slippers and lavendar balm. Starbucks and The Keg on site. Overall a very nice stay with great service.

|2.55km from downtownWe better not Jed the hotel for a night to attend a concert. It would have been a long walk to the Saddledome and it was very cold so we took a taxi. It cost $15.00 one way which would have been the cost to park our vehicle at the Saddledome.
The breakfast in the morning was a continental breakfast with plenty of everything.

|0.49km from downtownI stayed here for two nights at the end of a fantastic 25 day trip staying in 10 different hotels, 6 of them Fairmont, and this was the most unfriendly and pretentious place I stayed. From arrival in this beautiful building when the receptionist looked down her nose at us as if we were hill-billies, the bell boy could not crack a smile and made it clear that the $5 was not a large enough tip, to the filthy carpets in the room, we did not feel welcome. I am aware it is not the hotel’s responsibility but the noise from boy-racers and the sight of rough sleepers/ druggies on every street did not endear me to Calgary and I am sure a better hotel, at less price, could be found away from the centre. To cap an unfortunate stay the hotel took $200 off my credit card the minute we checked in (the room had been pre-paid by our travel company). Every other hotel I used simply took a swipe of my card but did not cash it and the bill was settled upon departure. The Fairmont Palliser have told me it will take 5 - 10 business days for the money to be returned to my account! This has left a sour taste in my mouth and confirmed my belief that there are better hotels than the Fairmont group to be used on our return trip to Canada.
