I went for solo staycation as I had been wanting to go but sadly they closed to assist government's support in covid-19 housing of SHN individuals hence my staycation was cancelled. Glad that they open and went for a night solo staycation. What attracted me is their big room and big bathtub beside the window, and smaller infinity pool hence I look forward to staying here. I would say the location is abit far off from the attractions and hence quieter, especially during weekends. The food garden at Asia Square Tower 1 & 2 opens only on weekdays for working staff. Hence, if you are staying on weekends, u will need to walk about 5 minutes to Lau Pa Sat for meal or walk to MBS which takes about 15 minutes. Otherwise, you will need to take a train to elsewhere for meal. Marina Bay Link Mall has Subway and Toast Box opening on weekends though. There are 2 restaurants open on weekends at Asia Square Tower 2 ground level but not much variety. The hotel room is big enough, clean and I love the bathtub beside the window. Not many hotels come with bathtub that is beside the window and the view is great. Basic necessities are there, just that there is no comb. I'm quite surprised many 5-star hotels do not provide comb. I would think this is probably something for hotels to look into. They do provide a travel plug in case u have forgotten to bring. They also provide essential oil so that u can rub on to have a gd slp and wet wipe (1pc per night) for safe stay. I like the swimming pool which is an infinity pool. It was quiet when I went which is great and not crowded. There is also free whirlpool and steam room at their spa. The gym is really perfect with all main equipments there. They look new and not wear off. Maintenance is great! I have never gone to their restaurants but do note that they have happy hour for affordable draft beers. Visit their website to find out more. I would stay again probably during weekdays so that I can easy access to more food. Especially at night on weekends, it might be quieter for ladies who are on solo staycation. Hope my review helps. :)

Was looking forward so much to a serviced apartment, but felt the service was sorely lacking. Checking into the room, everything seemed old and slightly dirty. Worst part is when the bathtub tap was faulty and they took 2 hours to send someone over, despite reception assuring ”soon”. Understand it's a Sunday and lack of manpower, but the communication is so poor. They eventually fixed it but the technician was complaining about working alone on a Sunday. Also they do not help to send your food / delivery to your room, so you have to collect it. Something I expect from a 3/4 star hotel, but definitely not a serviced apartment. TV is also old, which I believe as a serviced apartment in the CBD area should be upgraded to at least a FHD TV. Only saving grace was the gym and pool, besides the location. Overall was disappointed with the service, but apartment is decent enough for the price (back then during covid times) and location.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Clan hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and was offered to have our luggage taken up to our room as soon as we arrived. The concierge, bar tender, every staff that we engaged with had incredible customer service, very helpful, made us feel very special. Loved the location, the room was very new, very clean, amazing housekeeping! And if you love swimming or chilling by a pool with a view, they have the perfect rooftop pool for you!! We were very happy with the Clan hotel! Would recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore, looking for a place, that is super convenient, central, comfy and with great service,

Check in put a real dampener to our couple and 30th anniversary get away. The check in time was 3pm and to be safe we arrived at 4pm. Soon after completing all the documentation for checking in, we were left hanging and waiting for more than an Hour. We were not told anything. The male Indian staff that attended to us was friendly but disappeared after a while. The new female staff did not really know the situation and told us that our room was still not ready at 5.15pm. We were told that the manager was aware and in another 20 minutes, they would have our room ready. No welcome drinks were offered whilst we sat there being paraded to the other hotel staff and guest. The manager did not come personally to explain anything to us. We had to approach the front office staff to enquire about the long delay. We finally got the keys to our room at 5.30pm. At these prices for this higher class hotel, we would have at least expected better treatment and service. This is something I would expect at a budget hotel. Sad that it happened at the start of the much awaited 2 night get away.

The room & toilet is very clean. The hostel is well organize and provided very local breakfast during the stay. The hostel location is great. Nearby 2 MRT stations and there are plenty of local food at the surrounding area. I like the building itself which is a renovated hostel in an old building. Recommend travelers to stay here if you do wants to enjoy solo trip.

The rooms are awesome! Very oriental for some of the furnitures but also sleek at the same time! Rooms are big and spacious! Rain shower and normal shower provided! There is also a radio/bluetooth speaker that you can connect to but the tv doesnt have smart tv. And the thing i love the most is the BREAKFAST! Most hotel breakfast plain eggs and bread and they look pathetic but their breakfast is awesome! Wide range of drinks and mains to choose from! I have to say i love everything except the service there. The service was quite disappointing... when i check in, they didnt bother to check that i had breakfast for 2 and tell me the location or the timing for it. They didnt provide me the wifi sheet either. I had to remember and go back to ask them on the way out. I love to sleep in bathrobes too so when i book this hotel i checked and made sure that there was bathrobes in the description. When i check in there wasnt any so i went to ask them for it and they told me all the rooms dont have bathrobes. If you dont have it, you should not have it in your description for amenities. Suddenly 20mins later when i was asleep they came knocking with bathrobes so now im confused if they do have it and did not put it or i dont know, i have no clue. Lastly even when checkout, no one was there either. I didnt know where the checkout box is cause other hotels would have a huge sign or at least put it visible. Theirs was near the counter so i didnt see it there. Waited for awhile before looking and found a basket at the side with a small sign. Would be nice if there was someone there to guide

This is a great little boutique hotel in the heart of Ann Siang Hill. The service was phenomenal - the entire staff was super friendly, and it was easy to chat with them via WhatsApp when I was out and about in the city and had questions. I liked my room - I would recommend getting a larger one, as the standard ones are quite small. I really appreciated the use of refillable dispensers for soap, shampoo, etc. - all hotels should do away with sample-size containers and move to these more eco-friendly options instead. Although my room was directly on the street, it wasn’t super loud. The location fantastic - tons of restaurants and bars are literally on the same street just downstairs, and Amoy Food Center and Amoy food street are a 5 minute walk away. My only caveats are that the front desk isn’t staffed 24 hours, so if you need to leave your luggage, you will have to claim it by 8 PM. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a great part of Singapore.

Location is really convenient, with lots of food options around. Maxwell Food Center is right beside the hotel. Initial room was facing roadside and really noisy. The staff was kind enough to change rooms for me and the new room was superb. Sadly, the jacuzzi pool was closed during my stay. Only gripe is that some towels had obvious brown spots (not sure if burnt or dirty) and utensils in the room also had stains. Would be perfect if hotel could improve on cleanliness.

It was ok but no hostel I would book a second time. It is kept clean but the surroundings of the hostel don't make an alone travelling woman feel comfortable at night. For the price it was ok. And the lookers are good.

Pleasant staycation even though for a night. Everything is good and check-in check-out processes were a breeze. Even the in-room dining service was magnificent. My feedback for the stay would be: (1) Awesome view of the Singapore River could not be fully enjoyed by someone of limited height. For someone tall like me, I can easily view the Singapore River and the bridge down there. For my petite mom? Could only view the skyline 🤭 (2) Menu for IRD Breakfast was not available via the QR Code. Need to personally call them and ask for the menu. In my morning voice, I especially would appreciate the online booking for the food instead of having to talk to someone over the phone. Talking to people before I even have my coffee? ^shakes head^ Nope. Other than the above, all was good. I enjoyed my stay.

This was my 2nd staycation at Amara Hotel. was warmly greeted by the cheerful staff, but he wasn't the one giving the room keys. only one counter staff was there. no upgrades or extensions, probably because the pandemic is over. The room is spacious but a little dim and the facilities such as the bathtub and drawers were a little run down. The room card holder drops out, managed to push it back. The television was quite dated in hi-tech Singapore. TV program seems crop and not fitting into the screen. For a 4 star hotel, i expect much better and well furnished facilities. i like the bright toilet though. The aircon is fantastic, just what we need in this hot and humid country. Getting around is convenient and there are lots of eateries around. Another relaxing staycation here at Amara Hotel. Booked during promotion. hope this prices will make a come back. but from what i've seen, room rates have definitely gone up quite a fair bit.

It's a wonderful hotel, we're always so happy to come back to it after a day on the town. Beautiful, lush, the epitome of a garden hotel in the Garden City. The service is great, the food is excellent, and it's convenient to all kinds of transit, with Chinatown on one side, central business district on the other, and a short walk to Clarke Quay. And my son had a few words to share about it as well: ”park royal collection is a place to stay and iconic as well with the mission to sustain thats sure to compel, come and stay the night and feel the inspiration park royal collectionnnn, they'll be everyone youll be livin the life when you get there, park royal collection discover the name no one in the game is even the same”

The kind lady at the front desk named Karen who attended to me was really hospitable and arranged for my birthday cake and upgrade of hotel room despite my calling the day before check-in , where the lady over the phone said that it was ” impossible ” to arrange for a cake because they needed three days notice. So Karen turned a disappointment into a wonderful birthday experience and loved the rainbow cake by the way. So I shall still rate five stars !

We tried the parklane split level suite this time and the room (or the overall parklane block) is outdated. Some partial renovation was done for the bathroom and kitchen, but i think the hotel should do more for typical class of 5 Stars hotel and price level. It's below our expectation. We get the Heritage room previously and it's still the best. Thank you for Ms. Crystal Soh who have helped to provide clean room and best arrangement for our stay, we really appreciate it. The room is very spacious and clean. There are many rooms to store the luggage or stroller. It comes with the washing machines + dryer, nice fridge + freezer, microwave and oven, as well as complete kitchen sets - like these very much. However the main door is not installed with hydraulic spring which you need to manually close it. The bed is pretty old and i can hear the spring sound clearly as i sit and sleep. Only 2 pillows are provided and not the best sleep i experienced as compared to other 5 stars hotels in Singapore. I hope Goodwood can try to change the bed. The bathroom, the shower area although it was newly renovated but the area is pretty small, hard to move around. one improvement that they could use the big shampoo and body wash bottle instead of small bottles that hard to be dispensed - to be more sustainable green hotel. The quality of the toothbrush and the tooth paste can be improved. The towels are very clean and relatively new. As for the kitchen, the provided dishwashing liquid was diluted with water, this should not be done or you should not provided at all as it may introduce bacteria as mixed with water. The TV channels can have more options for kids and upgrade to smart TV so we can connect to phone etc. We purchased several durian crepes and it's very delicious. Recommended to try this. The breakfast quality is very disappointing not as the famous Goodwood Park that many people know. When we came, the staff did not offer any drink, when i request for omelette, they suggested to take the ready vegetarian omelette that available. Only few options are available, no vegetables. for me it's like 4 stars hotel breakfast. The swimming pool is not so crowded, however water is a bit strange which make my skin a bit sticky (probably too much chlorine) - don't really like it. Overall it's a bit over priced or not meeting 5 stars hotel standard

I'm absolutely happy with my stays at Days Hotel. First, it's the seamless check in experience, fast and easy. Second, the ambience of the room and cleanliness is so good and the bed is comfy. Housekeeper were friendly and prompt to my toiletries request. Followed by the superb location at the CBD area near to Toa Payoh and Balestier Market and Whampoa Market. Cheap and nice foodies around that area. Best thing is public transport is so convenient to travel to Macritchie Reservoir and to Novena area. I want to comment the room comes with nice viewing Hehe. Highly recommended to make your bookings with them.

Fast check in and check out. Only thing that is lacking is the amenities. No comb/shaving kit provided in bathroom, which is weird. No bidet spray. TV is outdated, no screen mirroring either. So you have to either bring a HDMI cable if you wanna watch netflix or watch their HBO channel. Called the room telephone but nobody picked up. Buffet breakfast is simple. Good thing is the good location and the glass panel for bathroom beside bathtub.

The day we entered the room, we found red dirty stain on the toilet seats, the shower room was not clean, the glass has stain, dust flying down from ceiling, and the bed cover didnt covered the mattress completely where we see yellow marks on the mattress which is very disgusting. We have reported to the front desk but nothing improved until the second last day. The bed iwaz smaller than a Queen size so is only good for 2 people. The hotel is not close to train or bus station, it takes a 10mins walk. It’s close to bars and pubs, but the room itself is very quiet. Air-con is very cold. The toilet bowl and sink are very high. It’s not comfortable to use. They don’t have enough staff at night, we have asked for extra shower get and the staff asked us to go to the reception to pick up. The fire alarm went off one night, it woke us up at 2:30am in the morning but it was a false alarm.

Great location! Super amazing food on the side of the hotel. 3 of them in fact. This single reason made this hotel awesome. Walking distance to bugis street and albert food centre. Hotel itself was alright. I respect that they are trying to be economical in every way from the keycards(they are wooden) to saving resources. That should be rated high because they care about our planet. All other services are normal so nothing to complain or rave about. Rooms are small but not really lacking anything u dont need. I attached photos of the restaurant next to hotel as it was worth mentioning. Theres a thai / indian curry place / and a noodle spot.

Furama city centre is a popular hotel in Chinatown with a distinct design. The hotel is old looking and signs of its age are not difficult to find from the fading tiles to the aged interior. Here are the pros and cons once we look beyond its looks: Pros: 1. The location is very good. It is located opposite a mall Chinatown Point that you can find many types of food and nice shopping stores like Uniqlo. 2. The breakfast is a must. It costs $10 but its value goes beyond that. For $10 you get unlimited choices of coffee from cappuccino, latte, espresso and plain coffee. U also get orange, yogurt and nice Asian food like bee Hoon, buns, cut fruits and noodles. The live egg omelette station is also a must. 3. It is a well equipped hotel with a small gym and a functioning swimming pool in level 6. There is a drinking water dispenser you can go to fill up your water (no need to boil on your own). Cons: 1. There are limited local Channels for the TV. The cable channels does not work. The remote is also difficult to use and there are dead pixels on the Tv. It’s best to bring your iPad for entertainment. 2. Service has room to improve. The self help front desk check out system does not work. It is wasted time as you have to queue up with the people checking in after that. The front desk staff is also slow. Overall there are pros and cons with this hotel. It has a good location with nice breakfast that is value for money. The service and room amenities can be improved but is reasonable if you manage to secure the room on discount.

check in was a breeze. was informed their housekeeping is from 12pm - 4pm when i asked. room’s cleanliness was alright, floor was a little dusty, the table was dirty, the TV remote control had like chili sauce on the buttons and the mini fridge was very dirty, i didn’t dare to put drinks inside. bed and pillows were comfy, the thing i love most was the huge smart TV, unfortunately it didn’t have youtube app, and couldn’t screen mirror with my phone. someone knocked on my door at 9pm, saying i requested for toothbrush, which i did not. and frontdesk called my room and asked “did you ask for toothbrush?” i thought that was weird. i requested for late check out, but was informed hotel is fully booked they could only grant additional 30mins, which was fine. overall a pleasant stay. however, the doors slamming was really a turnoff for me. i understand guests’ actions are out of the hotel’s control, but at least do something about your doors to minimize or cushion the impact? the door felt so heavy that it slams very loudly.
