This hotel has outdated facilities and outdated decoration. Apart from the good location, it seems that there are no other highlights. Shopping on Orchard Road is really convenient. Opposite is 313. There is a very large Japanese supermarket downstairs. Sushi and fish are very fresh, and all kinds of Japanese food are available. There are ants in the room 🐜, you can't put anything to eat. The waiting time for the elevator is super slow. Some room types have no windows in the bedroom. Be sure to confirm with the hotel before booking. This is the room type that was allocated to me. The next day, I asked to change to a room type with good lighting and windows. The windows on the 10th floor (top floor) are very small. It is recommended to live on the 9th floor. Recently, the shopping mall downstairs of the hotel is being renovated. Sometimes there will be noise during the day, and get off work will stop at night after work. The swimming pool and gym are also small.

The hotel located at the end of Orchard road. Peaceful location. Walking distance to the nearest Sommerset MRT station. Although it is located next to the busy road, but sound insulation is good with their double window. The staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a good job, always keeping the room clean. Nice and spacious lobby good for meeting.

I would like to give a shout out to the banquet staffs manning the B1 meeting and function rooms - Anand, Baharom and Rashid. Notwithstanding are the other staffs who help with the cleaning and miscellaneous matters. I regularly conducts workshops there. On the mornings that I arrive at the hotel, without fail, I will be greeted by their warm greetings - as in I can feel the genuine warmth in our interactions. One can't help but feel not just welcomed, but as if one belongs. Whenever I need assistance - be it for extra materials or the projector is not working well enough or my participants have a special request; anything - these staffs NEVER SAY NO. They will try their best to accommodate and will always come up with an alternative if the need be. I was never disappointed. Above all, they NEVER make you feel like you are asking for too much, or that you are inconveniencing them. There will always be smiles and the ”I will see to it that this will be sorted” vibe. The sincerity and consistency are omnipresent. Your hotel is a 4-star property, yet other 5-star hotels need to take a cue from these staffs. I have been to many other hotels, and none can compare to the hospitality I get from your staffs. I also know this does not happen just because I've become a regular face there, as I remember back in 2015, I when I first received the same kind of hospitality from them. Thank you!

I really love the location because it's in the city center, and the Center Point Mall is nearby also. The receptionist is very friendly coz I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. Bars are just outside the hotel. I love orchard 🥰🥰🥰

The Front office clerks are helpful and polite, check-in was efficient. The hotel should be one of the best in this location 50 over years ago. Presently, the building is very old and without renovation. The lighting in the 2 Grandfather LIFTS are so dimmed and moving so slowly, (the simplest way to improve is to change all the mirrors and brighten the lighting). I more suggestion is to supply the very basic bath and shampoo / 3-in-one gels and toothbrush set in the bathroom as a must for tourists even if the room price could rise for $5.00. Hope the hotel would improve the 2 points as soon as possible.

A lot of surprises, the service attitude is super good, I don't understand why the score is only 4.2 points. As soon as I got off the taxi, a staff member came to ask if it was a guest. The answer was yes, a few staff members came to help carry the luggage. The equipment in the room is not clear how to use it, and a staff member came to deal with it immediately. The cleaning of the room is super clean, it is not an exaggeration to describe it as spotless. The feeling of living in an apartment is different from a hotel. There is a washing machine, you can do laundry, there is an induction cooker, you can cook your own food, and there is a refrigerator, everything is there, the room is large and fully equipped, it is really at home. Shopping is convenient. The pictures on the Internet are not as good as the actual rooms. It is recommended that you do your homework on the pictures. In short, if I live in Meimei, I will choose their apartment next time I go uphill. By the way, praise our Ctrip customer service MM, and repeatedly helped me to coordinate and communicate with the hotel for the request I provided, and the service attitude is also very good.

A very pleasant stay! I have always had a good impression of the hotels under the Far East Group. This time I stayed at the Adina Apartment. As expected, it was still very pleasant. Excellent location, convenient transportation, comprehensive room facilities, and thoughtful and warm service... are all plus points for this trip. Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

We had a great time staying at the Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore during Christmas this year. We were warmly welcome by the staff during checkin. The staff was very friendly and even gave my baby a teddy bear as a welcoming gift. We stayed at the two bedrooms suite which was perfect for our family. We could prepare food for the baby in the kitchen and enjoyed dinner at the dinning room altogether. The location of the hotel is really convenience. It’s walkable distance to the infamous maxwell food center, the Chinatown and MRT station. The pick up spot for grab just right downstairs. We highly recommended this hotel. The buffet in the morning was really good. We stayed for 4 nights and the food were different almost everyday.

The hotel functions like a business hotel. Lack of warm hospitality that I witness in some other hotel chain. I was lost in the room as there were no communication as to what number to dial for conceirge. Only a number for housekeeping and they had to forward the call for me. When asked for late checkout, the answer was an unapologetic No. I guess the hotel has great business. And the bath was choked but they got it fixed. Plumber was fast and friendly but of course, it was still precious time wasted waiting for the bath to be fixed.

A rather short walk away from havelock station, concord shopping centre is nearby, but great world is a distance away. It has the typical amenities you would expect, toiletries, minibar etc. Lounge service was excellent - very friendly and helpful - and the canapes had some variety. Receptionist was unhelpful but most of the other staff i met were friendly and flexible. Overall a pleasant stay.

A wonderful and very convenient hotel to stay for anyone. The hotel ambience and room light and view of the busy city, yet the night light was also a delight. Take a walk to see Chinatown, the local Chinese food was delicious & (if U are able, try the durian and chendol) . Jus wanted to talk about the hotel breakfast, it was simple with both western and Chinese, but have to say, included was vege & cauliflower , one of the best ever . Kudos to the hotel. Cheers

Our stay at Parkroyal was a breeze. Checking in was smooth. Requested for 2 single bed but didn't got it, wasn't any issue. Cleanliness is perfect 👍 Breakfast spread was superb as well. The kids enjoyed picking up food by themselves (with supervision as the plates & drinking glasses were made from ceramic which was quite heavy for the little ones) Housekeeping were great as well. Checking out was smooth too as there was no queue. Great location! Bus stop is conviniently just right outside the hotel. Definitely a good staycation for the whole family 😌

The room looks old but is kept clean except for the blanket which have an obvious stain mark, but since its at the edge I'm willing to look past this. Aircond controls seems to be not working, making the room very cold eventhough fan had been set lowest and temperature the highest. The floor being tiles only doesn't help as well. Otherwise its a good 2 nights stay for me considering the convenient location. Service by the staffs are satisfactory as well.

Stayed at this hotel for one night only but no complaints about their service and cleanliness as it was top class. Booked a good king room and got upgraded to great king room for free. Since we checked in quite late (6pm), receptionist extended our check out time to 12pm with no additional pay. Aware that room size in Singapore is quite small but the room that we were in was spacious enough for 4 of us (2 adults, 1 4yo kid, 1 baby). Location wise is perfect, very near to Bencoolen MRT. Will def stay here again the next time we visit Singapore ✨

Fantastic Hotel! Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help. Check in was quick and easy, lifts work on a card and touch screen basis which is easy to use. Reception extended our room till 2pm free of charge and not much extra to keep it till 6pm. As a western visitor i struggled finding reviews of the breakfast.... best ive had in years of visiting Singapore. Fresh fruit, Yoghurt, juices and cereals. Breads, meats, salmon & pastries. Eggs boiled or fried on buffet but can order an omelette, sunnyside up eggs or poached eggs free of charge. Bacon, beans, mushrooms, asian breakfast inc sui mai,bao buns and noodles. Pancakes or waffles with berries and maple syrup. You wont go hungry. We had a twin deluxe room, lovely! Aircon and a ceiling fan both great. Lighting works off a panel.on the wall but easy enough to work. Cleaned every day, iron and ironing board in room and great hairdryer. Beds were really comfortable. Pool area was lovely and quiet. Pool not deep so great for families too. Pool towels provided and food and drinks served at pool. Honestly, apart from no hangers in the wardrobe i couldn't find a fault (ive spend over 20yrs in travel industry so can easily be critical). I would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant surprise to be able to check in earlier to the hotel and was provided a complimentary upgrade to a higher level room (Executive Marina Bay Room)! Room was spacious with superb view of the Marina Bay!! Service was great, housekeeping lady, Tina was friendly as well! Was also given a box of chocolates when we checked in and an Xmas sock on our 2nd day of stay as it’s Xmas eve! The pool comes with 2 huge donut floats. Unfortunately, not sure if it’s due to the weather, the water is really cold and cool. There’s also a kids indoor playground (socks to be worn). The playground is very kid friendly and clean. Definitely a pleasant experience, it would even more memorable if there were fire works!
