The rooms are affected by the structure of the building, and the structure is not standard. The visual area is just over 20 square meters. This price can live in a room of 40 square meters in Macau. I booked 2 deluxe rooms, one with bathtub and one without. There were too few paper towels in the room, and they ran out soon. Low cost performance.

The hotel is on Hulhumale Island, a ten-minute drive from the airport. The hotel can't see the sea. It's a two-minute walk away from a house on the beach, but it's quite quiet. It should be newly opened soon, and the facilities are very new. The room size and decoration style are quite good compared to other hotels, probably four-star standard. It also comes with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (not available in many hotels in Male), but you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast is actually a self-service. There are not many varieties, but the basic ones are (juice, bread, ham, eggs, fruit), which is better than many hotels on the main island of Male. There is a big disadvantage. After the room lights are turned off at night, the fire-fighting sensor light on the ceiling glows green and is quite bright. The whole room is so green (self-braining ghost film), so the cowardly little girls don't go, hahaha. Or use a band-aid to stick the indicator light, or wear an eye mask. In general, in the main island of Male’ and Hulhumale, this hotel is very cost-effective, and the service is also very good, as well as free business car drop-off. It is highly recommended if it is a transitional one-night landing on the island or a flight the next day.

H78 is a newer boutique hotel in Hulhumale. I booked 2 rooms for a one night stay as we had to catch another flight to Singapore the next morning. I had provided our arrival time and flight information to the hotel a couple of days prior to arrival. We arrived around 6:30 AM and the hotel staff was waiting for us after clearing customs. The ride to the hotel was about 10 to 15 minutes. Only one of the rooms was ready on arrival at the hotel so our luggage was put in that room while we eat breakfast which was decent. The complimentary breakfast kicks in the next morning so we had to pay for this breakfast which I though was good and very reasonably priced. The second room was ready by the time we finished breakfast so we were checked in. As everyone has stated in the reviews, the rooms are very small but clean with good air conditioning . Would have preferred a bigger room, but for $100 in Maldives that includes pick up and drop off to the airport, early check in (when available) and complementary breakfast, it was good enough for us. Also, the beach is directly across the street from the hotel so we hung out there after getting some rest from all day travel. The rooftop restaurant is pretty good and the prices were very reasonable for Maldives so we had dinner there. Hulhumale is a new city that was built about 25 years ago so the building are relatively new. We felt very comfortable taking a late afternoon stroll and did some shopping in the neighborhood. Next morning we had the complimentary breakfast and were taken to the airport shortly after. This hotel gets 5 stars from me because of the intangibles. Around 2:00 AM, I got out of bed due to jet lag so decided to do some work on my laptop. I called the front desk to ask if they had an area where I can work. He set me up in the restaurant downstairs so I was able to get a couple of hours of work in. The most impressive part for me is when we got to the airport the next morning and prior to clearing security, we realized that one of our phones was missing and we felt it was left in the Van. I called the hotel to ask the driver to check the Van. Fortunately, the driver found the phone and brought it back to the airport! For me, that was the cherry on the cake. Having stayed in high end luxury resort in Maldives on a previous visit, I appreciate the value that this hotel provided for layover and short time stays. For me, the complimentary pick up and drop off at the airport is more than worth the price. Yes, the rooms are small but I can deal with that for a one night stay considering everything else. It's all about expectations! Shout out to Digil, the front desk manager who checked us in, the drivers and restaurant staff who made our stay more pleasant. I will definitely stay here again on a layover.

Clearly an oasis inside the busy capital city of Male’. With only 5 rooms this charming boutique has everything to include an amazing Thai restaurant attached. The owner, Thomas, is attentive and fun to chat with as my entire family loved staying there during a three night stay after a week at the resorts. The rooms have large king size beds , good air conditioning and are well decorated and clean. There is coffee, tea and a mini bar with drinks and snacks. Inside the rooms. The bathrooms have good amenities and fixtures. Also the Wifi is fast and reliable. If you plan to stay there eat at the Sala Thai restaurant, you can’t go wrong with the variety of tastes, degree of hotness and the charming ambiance. I was a very please customer!
