This is my hubby and I favorite hotel we’ve been booking here for about a year and it’s always perfect unfortunately this stay was a little different our room was not our regular standard room it was a tad bit cramped with a tiny bed the bed had no bed sheet covering it when we asked for extra sheets we discovered that they brought us the sheet that was already supposed to be on the bed to us to put on ourselves Our tv stopped working after the first night due to the cord in the back of the tv being broken with exposed wires they had someone come fix it right away Due to Covid the hotel cut access to the gym and breakfast which is granted plus there’s no microwave The staff was great very accommodating though except this one employee who does front desk named Simone she was very rude and had a belittling tone of voice/attitude while my hubby and I were checking in she gave me quite the attitude because she was frustrated at the fact that she couldn’t do her job checking us in correctly and timely Not to mention she was speaking to a guess over the phone who happened to ask if they take over the phone payment she then proceeded to tell the guest that that was an *****ic question and then finally said no with a screwed up face Out of all my disliking on this stay Simone was my least favorite.

My mother, son, and I have come to regard this lovely hotel as our home away from home when we come to NYC. Iwana is always so excited to see us, as we are her, when we arrive. This time since she knew it was my mother's birthday, she had wine and a sweet card delivered to our room. Another time when we stayed, chocolate was delivered. She just makes us feel so special; we know we can count on her during our stay. I love the bathrooms with luxurious showers and the rooms are so comfy and clean! Most of all we love the people there. Nancy, who runs the hotel, does a fabulous job with guests and her staff alike. The concierges are super helpful and will help you plan your whole trip--they give wonderful suggestions. Carl, especially, has provided suggestions for our stay that we keep using each time we come. The doormen outside are just so nice and always wanting to help in any way. We met Anne, this most recent visit, at the front desk and she was so lovely and helpful. We are returning to NYC in June, but the prices are too high for us to stay at Conrad this time. So we will miss seeing all of the lovely staff at the Conrad New York Midtown. Hopefully another time!

Had a great stay at this hotel. The service was great and the staff helpful. I definitely recommend the roof top lounge. It was a great place for me to relax and read. As well great place to hang out without leaving the hotels. The DJs were awesome each night and the food was delicious. A special mention to Bechir the manager. He made us feel comfortable every night with his warm and friendly demeanour. He has created a great team and leads by example ensuring everyone is working together to deliver impeccable service. Soriya offered great service and she too deserves a special mention. Thank you to all.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Brooklyn for the weekend because we were getting married down the street, so we coordinated a room block for our guests. We had fantastic rates to begin with, but then we were offered lower rates soon after setting this up! When I checked into our room the morning of our wedding to get ready, the room was decorated to perfection! There were balloons, banners, rose petals and some very sweet gifts! I was blown away! Later on in the morning while we were getting our hair and makeup done, a delivery arrived and it was 2 champagne flutes, 2 splits of prosecco, a berry purée to add to the prosecco, chocolate covered strawberries and French macarons. Again, my jaw was on the floor! Also, our guests each had a hand written note in their rooms for when they checked in. I was absolutely floored by the hospitality we were shown! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding weekend and a GIGANTIC thank you to JoAnn for making this all happen!!
