Chaweng Noi Koh Samui|1.76km from downtownChanging from Intercontinental to Vana Belle A hotel that thought Marriott's highest Cat 8 and was rated as a diamond by Ctrip would be amazing but not as good as Intercontinental
[Service] No one arrived at the lobby of the hotel at noon. After waiting for a few minutes, someone was welcoming. The room booked by Ctrip was allocated a 802 twin bed. I wanted to change it to a double bed room that I could check in immediately. I decided to wait for the room after about 3: 802 in the afternoon. When I waited for the room, I can consider the hotel spa reception staff to take out the spa information. Service awareness / business familiarity needs to be strengthened. Each room will be given a 1,000 baht coupon. Dining and spa but cannot be used in conjunction with Marriott discount / spa package
[Room] The only bright spot is that all rooms are suites with swimming pools, but because the suites are already in the suite, the Marriott Gold Card cannot be upgraded. The twin room is also two 1.4-meter wide beds. The bedding is OK but the pillows are a bit high Not comfortable enough / low fluffy pillows are too soft and crumbling. Regarding the negative floor rooms mentioned in the comments, the jungle suites are indeed all going down the stairs. If you go up the stairs, it will be a lot more expensive. The sea view seems to be room 801, 802, 901, 902. Because the altitude is a little higher, there is a little sea view, and there is more sunlight. You can try to communicate under 201-203 when you stay. Those really light are generally completely blocked by the woods. The room supplies are Thann, but each bottle It ’s only 40ml. Compared to the 100ml bottle of Harnn provided by Intercontinental, it ’s a bit irritable.
[Environment / facilities] There is a public swimming pool near the beach, but there are not many people on the beach, but the service consciousness of the staff is not good. No one greets or spreads towels. A rockery pond looks like other public area facilities and is a little disappointed
[Breakfast] Marriott's Gold Card upgraded to a la carte breakfast. There were no oysters on the day of the stay. The steak was very old. The salmon was fried and the fat-free parts were dry. There was a protein roll with curry and a little crab meat.
[SPA] The environment is more average in a five-star luxury hotel, but the technique is good. Any 60-minute massage item from 10 am to 3 pm, including tax 1,400 baht, is very cost-effective. Can be arranged after check-out / before check-in.
[Overall cost performance] If you like the house, pay attention to the room pool, and have no high requirements for public facilities, the price of 1600 is indeed cost-effective, and the price of Ctrip is very powerful compared to other channels. The overall service needs to be improved.
