By Woodland Checkpoint, drive toward Danga Bay, then head for Iskandar Puteri by the Coastal Highway. You'll find Legoland before you get to Kota Iskandar.

Opening hours at LEGOLAND Malaysia are between 10:00 and 18:00 every day except Wednesday, when the park is closed. Theme park tickets start at SGD49.99 for adults aged 12+ and SGD39.61 for kids 3–11 years old.

From Johor Bahru, take the Jalan Skudai Highway and head in the direction of Pontian. When you get to Pekan Nenas, turn left at Sri Bunjan, then to Jalan Tenggayun. After that, just follow the signs to the park.

Tanjung Piai National Park is open between 09:00 and 17:00 between Tuesday and Friday, and between 09:00 and 17:30 on Saturday and Sunday. The park is closed on Mondays.

You'll find Fanpekka on Persiaran Desa Tebrau in the north-east of the city. It's open from 10:00 to 20:00. If you're on a one day trip to JB, the kids will love an hour or two playing here.

This theme park, located on the 2nd floor of AEON Mall Tebrau City, costs MYR68 for a child accompanied by an adult who pays MYR12. Kids must be accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age.

One of the oldest buildings in the city, it was built by the Chinese in the 19th century and still has its original bronze bell, incense burner, and wooden tablet. You can find the Johor Temple on Jalan Trus, just to the west of Jalan Wong Ah Fook and running parallel with it. It's open between 07:30 and 17:30 every day of the week.
