Beijing Railway Station, Jianguomen and Guomao Area Beijing|2.52km from downtownFirst of all, I am full of infinite feelings for this hotel. After all, it is the former W hotel, I really like the style of the interior. Young, stylish and individual. The hotel opened in 14 years and is relatively new in Beijing hotels.
I booked it on Ctrip because it was no longer available on the Accor App. (I want to know why it is not available on the official website, but Ctrip can)
From the beginning of the check-in, the cement floor at the entrance of the hotel lobby was full of cement and sand, which was not cleaned. (Usually five-star hotels shouldn’t)
When checking in, the check-in was slow and there was no warm welcome. The front desk staff was not particularly clear about Accor’s membership points system. It is unclear whether the food and beverage consumption can be credited. The room booked on the App before did not accumulate points. The response from the front desk staff was to apply to the leader. (Isn’t the points a member’s right? Why do I need to apply for it)
Thank you very much for the remarks from the reservation department, high floor, west facing. The room arrangement is very comfortable. It's really worthy of thanks.
🍃Environment: The room is very open, after all, the area is large and the design is reasonable.
🧹 Hygiene: General hygiene, the carpet is a bit dirty. There are long hairs on the sofa, and the Mini bar has not been wiped.
The room does not have the basic configuration of a five-star hotel, no wine glasses, only two simple large porcelain cups. There are no snacks, and the facilities are not well maintained, which is incomparable with the previous W.
Catering: Breakfast management is rather chaotic, especially when food supplements are not timely, and the dining table is empty. There are no special features and tasteless.
The Chinese restaurant is good, but there is only one waiter, and after running very hard, I can't bear to urge food and wine.
For a very sentimental hotel, there are countless memories and souvenirs. Although it is now managed by Accor, it is still the Sofitel brand. I sincerely hope that the hotel management team will take a good look at the details. There are many loyal customers, how to maintain, how to create experience, how to train and manage well. It's really worth thinking about. After all we love this hotel.
