Great
GGuest UserThis place is so beautiful, traditional style rooms and sliding doors, lots of natural wood. It felt like I was in a luxury hotel! The woman who ran in was so kind and friendly, I loved my stay here. I stayed here to hike a portion of the Nakasendo Way- Magome to Tsumago. It’s not close, you have to go to take like 2 or 3 transits to get there, I think it was like 2 hours to get there if I remember. It’s an old, traditional Japanese village- the buildings are really cool. There wasn’t much going on though while I was there, not many restaurants open. I ended up stocking up on food from 7/11 in Ena or Nakatsugawa I think it was to take back with me because there aren’t any stores like that in Iwamura that I found. You can get cash out from the ATM at the post office. This was a very peaceful place and a cool insight into a non-touristy area of Japanese life. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.
GGuest UserI booked a private twin room and was quite satisfied with the room. The inconvenience is that you have to go to the sister store to check in and store your luggage, which is a few blocks away. After booking, please remember to check the hotel’s email.
XXingyouyiThe location of the B&B is not far from the JR station. There is a 711 convenience store next to it. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Miyagawa Morning Market. It is very convenient. The Japanese-style room is clean and tidy and equipped with a bathroom.
RRickyMKThere is a mother-in-law at the B&B who understands simple English and is very kind. She also introduced some scenic spots. The B&B room is large and the environment is very clean and hygienic. But please note that you need to take stairs to get to the room on the second floor. The B&B has a bathhouse, which is subject to a pay-per-use fee. The location is moderate, opposite Kokubunji Temple. It takes about 6 minutes to walk from Takayama Station towards Kokubunji Temple. It is easy to find. From the B&B, you can walk to the Takayama Festival Hall, Kankawa Chaochi, Shimosan no Machi, etc., which is very convenient.
There was an incident. I booked a room that included breakfast, but the B&B did not provide breakfast. After that, I returned to Hong Kong to handle the matter. After contacting Trip.com customer service, I was able to get the relevant funds back quickly.
JJK02This guesthouse is clean and conveniently located near the JR station. The owner is incredibly friendly and provides helpful information for exploring the town. It’s the first place I’ve stayed where they even carried guests’ luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. A warm and welcoming experience overall!
SslothVery cozy stay, few private onsens to choose from included in the room price, there was no need to queue as it was empty at most times. The staff were also very friendly. The hotel does not have a restaurant but they gave a few restaurant suggestions at nearby places. Very comfortable stay overall!
YYIGo out of Gero station, turn left and walk for three minutes, and then you can check in at three o'clock in the afternoon. You can put your luggage in the room where the landlord of the hotel will carry the luggage up. There are showers and toilets on the second or third floor. Basically, you can just take the bath outside. The shower that comes back to sleep is less than the sink on the third floor. It seems that there is no hot water. The wooden building. The room is poorly soundproof. It is recommended to arrive early in Gero 1300¥.
LLiulianbaobei0526The location is very good 👍
It is very convenient to go to several ski resorts nearby.
The food is delicious 😋
This price is very suitable.
GGuest UserThe owner is so kind. The facilities are well equipped and tidy. The location is station and distance. But it's okay because there are many things to see on the way. The disadvantage is that there is not enough place to eat near the hostel. But the dormitory is very attractive to cover the shortcomings If you want to feel the unique atmosphere of Japan, it is recommended
