This was truly one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had in Indonesia. From the moment I arrived, the host Ngurah Miartha and his family impressed me with their incredible warmth, welcoming nature, and genuine friendliness. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home throughout my stay. Beyond that, he went above and beyond to help us plan our itinerary and arrange transportation. Thanks to him, we had such a smooth, fun, and memorable trip. Every suggestion he made—from local attractions to hidden gems—was spot on, and he made sure we experienced the very best of the area. The service was absolutely outstanding. Whenever I needed anything, he responded immediately with patience, kindness, and a big smile. His dedication and sincerity really touched me. Another highlight of my stay was the breakfast. Every morning, he served a delicious and thoughtfully prepared meal that made my day start off perfectly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had during my travels. The homestay itself was newly renovated, which made the whole place feel fresh, modern, and extremely comfortable. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully put together. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and I truly appreciated the peaceful and inviting atmosphere. This stay made my trip even more memorable. I would definitely come back again.

Please note you cannot call grab from the resort back to town.need to use villager's driver service. Also this is a pet friendly resort, which maybe an issue if you are muslim because dogs are permitted there. Halal food has no certificate.massage is not so good, paid for an hour but finished 10 mins earlier. I don't like the oil's smell they used.

Well, it has been a great place for my stay. The owners and the staff are pleasant and kind to be with. Further the vibe is top notch. I will definitely come back here again. Just taking one small star from cleanliness is because the part above my top bunk was dirty, the bed was clean, however the part above the cupboard wasn’t. Nothing major? Just a feedback that will make it worth 5/5! Anyway, enjoy your stay here.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Bali! The scenery is absolutely stunning! Whether in the lobby, inside the hotel, in the rooms, restaurants, or by the pool, the views are breathtaking! The hotel's bay view is just as beautiful as the famous Tears of Lembongan, if not more so! The hotel service is excellent. There's a free shuttle bus from the Yellow Bridge to the hotel every hour, and they also provide complimentary drinks, snacks, aloe vera gel for after-sun care, sunscreen, etc. Breakfast is à la carte and very delicious. I recommend staying at least two nights! Because the hotel is located on Nusa Lembongan, next to Lembongan Island, transportation is a bit inconvenient. You need to take a boat from the Bali jetty to Lembongan Island first, then take a shuttle bus from Mushroom Beach (jeep) on Lembongan Island to the Yellow Bridge, and then take the hotel's free shuttle bus to the hotel. Therefore, it's best to contact the hotel in advance via email or WhatsApp to arrange the shuttle bus from Mushroom Beach to the Yellow Bridge (approximately 150,000 Indonesian Rupiah = 63 RMB).

Lurveeee everything about this villa! Worth my money. Stayed for 4 nights. No need to walk far to get into the villa area. After a long day of walking, it’s nice not to have to walk far. All the amenities were complete, and even when we requested a refill of the shower gel, the staff were very attentive. The room was big and comfortable. Clean too.

We‘ve stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The first night we arrived pretty late, but we noticed that everything was a bit dirty and rusty, as were stains on the bed and towels. I texted the hotel, that we’re not so happy with our room. The next day we changed our room, it was also not that clean but it was okay for us. The shower was not very good, since the water pressure was very poor and we only had a bathtub so the bath floor got wet. The breakfast was fine, we liked it. The afternoon tea, was not very special as was the restaurant in general, it was fine but there are way better ones in the area with a better price and taste. Also the pool was small but nice. Sadly, for us the location was not the best, but that was our mistake. The staff was very nice and helpful! All in all it was a nice stay, the only thing that bothered us most was the cleanliness.

## Check-in Convenience Regarding check-in convenience, if you're staying in Lovina, this place is quite recommended. It's a resort with both villa and standard room areas, and the front desk is open 24/7. So, no matter how late you check in, you won't be left confused, and there's always someone available to assist you with any questions! (However, for my second stay, I need to be clear about a few things so you can judge for yourselves.) ## Safety The security here is generally higher than a private guesthouse. However, if you're staying in a villa, especially as a couple, do be extra cautious. The doors are opened with a key, and the main entrance to the room is an old-fashioned Chinese wooden door with an equally old-fashioned locking mechanism. Safety first when you're traveling! Also, if your villa is on the edge of the property, there might be an iron gate leading to the beach. Make sure to double-check that this door is securely locked before you go to bed. Other sliding doors have standard latches. (Again, safety first!) ## Facilities This was my second stay here, and my first visit was completely pleasant! This time, however, I had no hot water, and the water pressure was extremely low, meaning I couldn't even take a hot shower on the first night! My impression of the place immediately plummeted. We had specifically asked our Ctrip agent to arrange an extra bed with the hotel in advance and ensure it was placed in the room before our arrival. We arrived at 3 AM, and they charged us for the extra bed, but it wasn't in the room! We had to go to the front desk, and only then did they remember to set it up for us! And here’s the most outrageous part: the 'extra bed' was just a mattress! I paid an additional 400 (currency not specified) for just a mattress. Given that they didn't even put it in the room beforehand and I had to go to the front desk to sort it out, we suspected they simply thought three girls could share a 1.8-meter bed. It felt like they charged us more for an 'extra bed' without actually providing one. Completely unacceptable! If you plan to use the swimming pool, I'd suggest you also ask Ctrip to communicate with them in advance to ensure it's cleaned. Since it's an outdoor pool, it inevitably collects leaves and dirt. Make sure it's spotless before you get in! ## Service Regarding the service, I have a few points to make: 1. **Check-in experience**: Honestly, regarding the extra bed, the hotel displayed a 'we'll only act if you push us' attitude. 2. If you've booked a villa room, make sure to ask for your complimentary drink vouchers! (Standard rooms don't receive free drinks). 3. **Arranging transportation**: I recall during my first stay, a hotel staff member told me they could drop us off in town for free, but pick-up would be charged. This time, however, that complimentary drop-off service was no longer available! We didn't want the hassle of finding a taxi ourselves, so we let them take us. A Grab ride would have cost 35,000 IDR, but they charged us 75,000 IDR – more than double! It was outrageous. So, it's better to arrange your own transport, even if it means a bit more effort. 4. The lack of hot water was reported multiple times, but despite their attempts to fix it, there was no lasting solution. We eventually called Ctrip to request a room change. Only after the platform communicated with the hotel was the hot water finally repaired! 5. **The hotel breakfast!** I really don't understand what happened. During my first stay, I was directly given a menu to order à la carte dishes. This time, without even asking, I was directed straight to the buffet breakfast. (When I inquired with a staff member, she said: 'Villa guests can order à la carte, but standard room guests can only have the buffet.') However, the quality control between the two is just not on the same level! What's more, I noticed many other guests weren't aware that an à la carte menu was even an option. I truly can't comprehend how they let things get to this point! ## Environment The overall hotel environment is quite lovely. It boasts its own private beach and tree-lined paths that feel like a natural oxygen bar. It’s very comfortable, and having breakfast by the sea in the morning is incredibly relaxing! The room's interior environment is also decent, though there were some minor issues like peeling paint on the walls. I didn't take many detailed photos as I was mostly focused on enjoying the scenery (after all, you can't let a few inconveniences spoil your entire trip!).

Overall, it was extremely clean, and they truly respect your privacy, with staff who are never intrusive. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The place is also incredibly photogenic, perfect for pictures! We didn't have to worry about the common 'Bali Belly' issue, as the water was exceptionally clean. Conveniently, right outside the door, you'll find places to eat, exchange currency, and get a SIM card. The pool water was clean as well. Very nice.

GGuest UserHad a great stay! Room was big for the price, clean, and smelled fresh. Super convenient spot, close to spas, restaurants, local shows, art street, and markets. We loved walking around in the evenings. Staff was friendly, and the balcony gave off peaceful, nature vibes even though you’re right in the city. Just make sure to keep food covered ants can show up since it’s near the forest. Side note: no hair dryer provided n bring your own travel adapter as Indonesia using EU type power plug.

GGuest UserI travelled often but never really took the time to write any reviews (even though I find them super helpful) But my stay at Ohana was that amazing that I owed the hosts 5 minutes to thank them for their hospitality and making sure we had the best time! I can not recommend Ohana Retreat enough! It has been the highlight of our trip to Bali . The room was comfortable ( i have back issues and the bed was very comfy) the view from the roof top is perfect for the best sunset photography! The pool was nice, and I enjoyed a massage from the comfort of the hotel. Its so close to everywhere you want to be but far enough away to relax and unwind. We tried many coffees and restaurant around the retreat and loved them all! All of Neil & Shelly’s recommendations were especially on point. -cactus coffee (amazing strong coffee with fresh almond milk) -monsieur spoon Best croissants and pastries (I’m French and picky lol) - Santorini authentic greek food -Wasabi good sushi -Bottega amazing fresh Italian food. I also took a Cooking class with Shelly and learned beautiful Bali cuisine while having fun! I was lucky enough to joined her to the local market to get what i needed to reproduce it back home. My husband didn’t take the class but for a lil extra enjoy the amazing meal we cooked. My favorite thing was also spending time with lil twinkie the mini pomenarian . We will be back when we come back to Bali! Comfortable, best location, clean, friendly, helpful, safe, best view !

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at this hotel right in the heart of Ubud! The location is absolutely perfect – just a short walk to the Ubud Palace and surrounded by a great selection of cafes and restaurants. It's the ideal spot for anyone looking to explore the area and soak in the local culture. The hotel itself is lovely. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. What really stood out was the exceptional service from Ms. Widya. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests I had during my stay. All in all, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ubud. The combination of the prime location, great rooms, and warm hospitality makes it a top choice for a stay in the area.

GGuest UserThe standard room has an AC according to trip.com, but in fact it only has a fan. But I wont blame the hotel, because I have the strong feeling trip used a.g.o.d.a as a third party and put the wrong information. The view from our room was very nice, and we had the banana pancake for breakfast that was excellent. It is a good accomodation for the price and I would recommend it. But next time I would choose a room with AC

GGuest UserA Hidden Gem in the Heart of Bali—A Truly Memorable Stay at Omatha Village I rarely write reviews this detailed, but my stay at Omatha Village in Denpasar, Bali, truly deserves one. What started as a short 4-day family getaway turned into a 14-day memorable experience—all thanks to the warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality of the staff, especially MEGHA. Omatha Village, nestled in a serene and rustic part of Bali, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, making it an ideal destination for families like mine seeking to recharge and reconnect. The environment is lush, calm, and beautifully maintained. Every corner of the property gives off an authentic Balinese charm blended with home-like comfort. But what sets Omatha Village apart is the incredible team led by MEGHA. From the moment we arrived, Megha welcomed us with genuine warmth and a calm professionalism that immediately put us at ease. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly courteous. Whenever we had a question, request, or even a minor issue, MEGHA consistently proactively provided solutions, often before we had fully explained the situation. It's uncommon to encounter someone who exemplifies leadership so effortlessly. MEGHA’s entire team reflects her spirit—humble, responsive, and genuinely caring. I’ve stayed in many places across countries and continents, but the hospitality shown here is among the best I’ve experienced. Initially, I had booked only four nights, unsure of what to expect. But it didn’t take long to realize that this place was something special. Because of the outstanding service and the peaceful vibe of the resort, I extended our stay for another 10 days, and MEGHA handled it seamlessly with zero stress. To Megha and the entire team at Omatha Village—thank you for making our Bali experience so smooth, relaxing, and memorable. Your efforts made a real difference for my family, and we carry those positive memories with us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a family-friendly, peaceful, and heartwarming stay in Bali. 🌿🌺

GGuest UserThere were no towels in my room, so had to go & ask for them. At the pool I had to go into a lock up to look for a sunbed cushion, staff should be more proactive in offering cushions. I asked at the pool for a pool towel, they were surprised I didn't have any in my room, they got on the walkie talkie & asked for some for me, 6 hours later the pool towels hadn't arrived, so I went to reception myself to ask for them. My room was cleaned & no clean towels were left, I gave them the benefit of the doubt & left it a few hours, hoping they'd bring towels, but no, I had to once again go to reception for towels. A nice touch would be staff coming to your sunbed to ask if you want food or drink. The restaurant could do with a roll down wall, a barrier from the elements for times when the wind & rain are prevalent. It's not fun being blown about & getting wet when you're trying to negotiate your food. The rooms are lovely, I had an outside bathroom, which was very special. One issue is the ceiling, there's always bits of dirt or bugs falling onto the bed from the ceiling. The fan in my room didn't work, there was also a light out, but I just left it, I didn't want to keep complaining. Most of the food was delicious & presented very well. I tried vegetable soup, which was basically lots of uncooked veg in a vegetable bouillon, not my idea of soup, I didn't take too well to the spaghetti bolognese either, i didnt like the taste of it. I'm not sure what they wash the fruit & salad in, but it didn't taste very nice & tasted of chemicals, suffice to say I couldn't eat it. The staff are friendly & ready to help. I didn't realise the hotel had a driver to do trips, they should be informing people of this, I booked a driver from outside & would of preferred to pay the hotel driver. The surroundings/gardens are beautiful & so is the pool area. Beach sellers are a pain, you could be led on sunbed or eating a meal & they still harass you, one even sneaked up the stairs from the beach, staying just out of the view of hotel staff.

IIrine IrineI’m a very picky person, but I loved this place right away! 😍 The room is super clean, spacious, cozy, with its own Wi-Fi and great air-con. 🛏️ The bed is big, super comfortable, and perfect for a good rest — I slept really well here. 😴 All the furniture looks new and fresh, nothing old or worn out — renovation feels recent, the floor is spotless and everything looks very neat. ✨ Beautiful view and calm atmosphere — very comfortable and relaxing. 🌿 Perfect location for freediving, just 5 minutes to several schools. 🌊 Restaurants, a spa, and a supermarket are all nearby. 🍽️ The owners (a lovely couple) are very friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. 💕 Whatever you ask for — they arrange it quickly and with care. 🙌 The wife cooks delicious homemade food at fair prices. 🍛 Since Gojek/Grab don’t work on Nusa Penida, they help arrange transport via WhatsApp — always reliable and not overpriced. 🚗 I did notice a few tiny spots on the bed sheet and towels, but honestly, compared to many Bali hotels where stains are big and old, this was nothing serious. 😅 Everything still felt clean, fresh, and well-kept. 🧺 Cons: cleaning must be requested, towels and toilet paper not replaced automatically. 🧻 Hot water lasts only up to 5 minutes, then becomes just warm. 🚿 WhatsApp service only works until 10 PM. 📱 There’s noise both early in the morning (around 8:30 AM) and again in the evening (around 5–7 PM) from a nearby gym, plus roosters in the morning. 🐓🎶 ✅ Pros: clean, cozy, new furniture, comfy big bed, fresh renovation, beautiful view, super helpful owners, great food, perfect freediving location, fair prices. ⚠️ Cons: short hot water (5 min max), morning & evening noise, small stains (minor), limited service hours. Still, for the price, comfort, and location — this place is awesome! 💖 Highly recommend!❤️🔥

GGuest UserPondok Panji was super responsive and helpful even before arrival. They answered all our questions via WhatsApp and hooked us up with airport transfer for a very reasonable price. The hotel itself is a pleasant three or four minute walk from the main road which makes it quiet and secluded. It has only about 12 rooms so it’s a very intimate feel. It’s owned, managed and maintained by an extended family whose compound is right next door. They will help you with anything you need. Next day laundry service for about $1 USD per kg. They also gave us great advice for exploring the island and set us up with a driver who took us all over. The pool looks small in photos but totally kept the three kids, ages 9 to 12, in our two families entertained for hours at a time. It’s kept immaculately clean, and is maybe 1.5 m deep and about 3x5 m area. The hotel is slightly on the edge of the main city of Ubud. In low traffic times the hotel was about a 20 minute Grab ride from the monkey forest, for example. But during high season and in mid afternoon the same ride could easily take an hour. However, there were different options for groceries, snacks, and a number of decent restaurants within a five or ten minute walk which the hotel staff recommended to us and which we really enjoyed. The beds were comfy and large. They said queen size but my guess is they were actually king. One of the 12 rooms has two twin beds if you can reserve it in time. The kitchen and dining area was a shared space but we had plenty of room for our breakfast things in the fridge and enjoyed making toast and eggs every morning. Coffee (kopi bali style) and sugar supplied by the hotel. This hotel was built in 2024, I believe, and they just expanded from 8 to 12 rooms very recently. It is really a hidden gem.
