It is very convenient to go to the Abbey of Saint-Michel. There is a big supermarket nearby. The parking lot is free. This old building is very beautiful. The handsome guy at the front desk took the initiative to help carry the luggage upstairs and gave a bottle opener. The room is not big, but it is very clean. We are very satisfied and recommend this hotel.

Accueil et le personnel au top. La chambre 111 est bien. Dommage que la salle de bain est petite. Le spa est super grand qu'on arrive à faire quelques brasses😁. Prendre l'apéro dans le jardin c est un bonheur,le cadre y est. Le petit déjeuner se trouve à l'étage. Pour une personne qui se lève tôt,il est dommage que le petit déjeuner débute un peu tard (7:30)

This place is in some ways a throwback to the 1970s. A shower in the room, with a privacy screen, but the toilets are shared. I think the rooms are too small to ever be rebuilt with ensuite bathrooms. Some people let the doors crash, which have a mechanism for closing them securely. It's not far from the train station, but on a fairly busy road, and right opposite a gas station. We happened to arrive on the hottest day of the year, 40°C, and there is no air conditioning- so far, they got by without it, but climate change seems to be here to stay. We slept by keeping both the window and the door open, which created a stiff breeze. Too bad for the people looking in on their way to the toilet :-) The breeze sometimes smelled a bit of the street, and sometimes of manure- from a nearby farm? Not very strong, and normally you would of course keep the windows closed. Everything was clean, and the owners nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. If you come by car: there is free parking on the premises. The wifi could be more stable, it might need an upgrade. I lost my connection many times. This is very clearly a family business- staying here will not break the bank, and you are supporting a local family, not a big corporation. The attached restaurant can feed you at reasonable prices, and the cidre is sublime.

My wife and I stayed here for one evening before getting an early start to visit Mont St. Michel the next morning. We drove quite some distance and arrived outside of normal check-in hours, but the hotel manager (owner?) was kind enough to come and check up in-we very much appreciated this. The hotel is nicely decorated, with a lovely back garden. There is parking in the back, and there is a lift for bags, which was helpful since we had a room on the upper floor. We requested a room off the street, and we were given this with no fuss--again, much appreciated. The hotel booked us into a restaurant for the evening, which we really enjoyed. Our room was clean and quiet, which all that we needed. We got a good night's sleep for our early start the next day-exactly what we wanted.

Struttura piccola ed accogliente, clima molto familiare in una struttura Chambre d’hotes perfetta per visitare Mont Saint Michel dormendo in zona una o più notti. All’accoglienza vengono date tutte le informazioni per la colazione e le camere, c’è anche una piscina coperta e riscaldata dove rilassarsi. La camera era molto pulita, comoda, con bagno interno e vasca/doccia molto comoda. Tutto sembra ristrutturato di recente. I proprietari sono attenti, premurosi e molto disponibili per informazioni turistiche, consigli e check in/out e ci siamo davvero trovati molto bene. L’atmosfera è familiare, molto tranquilla e rilassante, perfetta per riposarsi lontano dal caos delle grandi città. Ottima anche la colazione: marmellate, crepes, pane, croissant, frutta e tutto l’occorrente per fare una bella colazione gustosa in vista di una giornata di passeggiate nella zona. C’è anche la possibilità di fare il caffè espresso grazie ad una macchinetta con cialde. I prodotti erano tutti prodotti locali e di qualità. Nei dintorni c’è tanto parcheggio, non sarà un problema trovare un posto. A due minuti a piedi ci sono anche un paio di panetterie e ristoranti. Torneremo sicuramente qui se ci capiterà di ripassare da Pontorson!

Truly felt that this hotel is the best location if u ever visited Mont saint michel , France . For my opinion is all about getting a nice photo. The restaurant & cafe is the only one in town with the whole castle as ur backdrop. Is very accessible as the bus from Pontorson train station stop in front of the hotel as well as the free shuttle crossing the bridge to month saint michel. All rooms have an open balcony which I loved it because you will feel connected with the nature . Bonus: there is a small path that cut tru the vast grass land to this amazing poster like photo spot , just google Méandres from ur hotel and is about 1.3km walk to there.( if is after rain , bring a boots it gets muddy )
