The hotel is located on the main street, with new facilities, large rooms, large bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchen supplies. The owner is warm and hospitable, and the cookies given upon check-in are delicious.
The hotel is in a great location which only few mins walking from train station and the Main Street of Greymouth. It’s clean and comfortable. The staffs are nice and friendly.
This is a small place, don't make too many demands. The hotel is a super historic hotel, things are relatively old, don't mess it up. The proprietress is also very friendly and tells you all the information. Of course, wifi does not work well. . I am the spark phone booth outside. Of course, if you change your mindset, look at the scenery more and use less Wi-Fi. Make dinner by yourself and cook everything. Opposite is the lake with nice scenery, it's good to go for a walk.
A motel located at the entrance to downtown Westport. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It is also good value for money, so I recommend it as an accommodation if you are traveling to the northern west coast of New Zealand.
Very quaint historic hotel in the middle of Kumara, not far from Greymouth.
The room was clean and updated, as was the bathroom, with a great shower.
Only one disappointing feature was that we could hear the rain on the adjacent roof, but if it hadn’t rained, then it would be perfect. Lovely meal in the restaurant too!
Right next to the main road of Greymouth, there is a big supermarket next to it. The room was very clean and the facilities were complete. The landlord received us very warmly and introduced the room facilities to us in detail. When he heard that we wanted to go to Monteith’s Brewery for dinner, he specially called us to ask about the opening hours. Highly recommended.
A very satisfying house to stay in, my favorite house during the trip.
Facilities: The facilities are very complete, two floors, living and lifestyle are separated, the location is very good, in the center of the town!
Service: barrier-free Chinese service, very enthusiastic, and took people to see fireflies at night, but it will be cancelled if it rains heavily
It is a relatively large resort in Fox Glacier, close to the town center. There are accommodation facilities in the park and you can also camp. The children's playground is quite large and there are children's bicycles. There are public kitchens and toilets. The accommodation is very clean and the service staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The only drawback is that there are potholes on the road occasionally, which would be better if they can be repaired.
Lovley little motel. Friendly staff, so obliging. Well worth the reasonable tariff. Not too far from town.We were able to properly dispose of our recycling rubbish.
First time staying at the motel, a little surprise, the hotel is very clean

SSparkling ❤️Location was decent for a small town, with a mini mart nearby and several dining options around.
The staff were very nice and friendly. One of my family members wasn’t sure how to use the heated blanket, so they didn’t take it out, which made it look like the room wasn’t used. The next day, the staff actually called to check if we were okay, as they were concerned we might have caught a cold from not using the heated blanket. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture.
GGuest UserThe room was clean, but the second night we stayed there it wasn't cleaned, and the towels weren't changed, so we had to go to the front desk to get them. Also, the light bulb in the room was out.

SSin NyongWe booked 2 king room ensuite however on arrival was assigned a king room without ensuite. Reception claimed system did not showed our booking with ensuite. Was re-assigned king room with ensuite after much deliberation. Bed was hard not comfortable. Common lounge was crowded.
GGuest UserA pleasant few days in calm surroundings. Great ocean and sunset views. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and eager to satisfy any requests throughout our stay. Accommodation was immaculately clean and well presented.

Kkimyap11a very nice hotel in franz joseph. the receptionist was kind enough to give us an upgrade as our original rooms were upstairs and there's no lift services. we ended up in a room on the ground level with o lovely fireplace with a microwave and comfy sofa. free parking on the premises itself and we were very happy with our stay there. there's a restaurant just minutes walking distance away but the town is not big so every thing else is just a few minutes drive away.
GGuest UserUnfortunately, our room was occupied by another guest. The reception was already closed, but we were able to contact them by phone. The situation was resolved, and we were spontaneously given another room of the same size. However, the room had a connecting door to the next room that couldn't be closed, and it smelled like a nursing home. The ventilation in the bathroom was so loud that it echoed throughout the entire building. Nevertheless, we slept unexpectedly well.
GGuest UserExceptionally clean, lots of little perks you would expect in a high rated hotel. It is a small place and you can hear your neighbours if they are noisy but most places are like this. It is cosy and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Gail is lovely and looks after your every need. Beautiful outlook, different areas outside. It is not far from township and from what I hear of others that stayed in town we got the winner. Value for dollar is exceptional. One of the restaurants/bars in town has a courtesy van you can get picked up and returned if you using their establishment, so there is no issue with transport if you need it though we didn't utilise. Friendly dog and cat, great bird life, has a couple of friendly weka who came to say hello. Cicaders and birds to listen to as you maybe have a glass of wine and watch the beautiful sky. Just lovely, thanks Gail hope to see you again. From catherine
