Yiwu is a city in central Zhejiang province of China and has a population of 1.2 million people. Its area is made of Yiwu and Dongyang cities. The city has a very long and rich history, it was founded during Qin Dynasty in 222 BC as Wushang county, in 624 AD it was renamed Yiwu County. The city has been a historically important trading city, even during the 1600s the men of this city would travel to surrounding lands to sell small commodities.
