You can also shop for the famous Kuwait dates and other spices at the Souq Mubarakiya, a central market that has existed for ages, and now has been renovated with many modern amenities. 

If you are travelling with kids, the Scientific centre of the city is a wonderful place to visit. The centre hosts a huge aquarium and also many interactive exhibits that will attract the adults and kids alike. 

You can also explore other attractions like the Kuwait Towers, Al Hashemi Marine Museum, and Al Shaeed Park as well as spend the evening at the popular Marina Beach. 

Tip: To visit the Grand Mosque, women must wear an abaya and a headscarf that is available at the Mosque.

The city is home to many shopping malls that cater to all budgets. The
