Ella Baron, the current artist in residence at Sir John Soane's Museum, is a talented cartoonist and comics artist. With her regular political cartoons featured in esteemed publications such as The Guardian, The Times, The Sunday Times, and the FT, Ella's work has also graced books, animations, and exhibitions. Be inspired by her captivating illustrations and gain career advice straight from the source. During this informal session, Ella Baron will generously share her experiences and offer guidance to those currently in or considering a creative career. Expect insightful discussions on navigating the industry's competitiveness, both creatively and practically in terms of funding, self-management, and promotion. The event will take place in the Art Room located in the basement of Sir John Soane's Museum, a revered cultural institution in London. To make the gathering more delightful, tea and biscuits will be served. If you have artwork you'd like Ella to see and appreciate, feel free to bring it along.
