The 8th Annual Tennis Tournament, PLAYING FOR A PURPOSE, presented by NeoWell, is an exceptional event that combines a passion for tennis with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged youth in North Texas. Over the past seven years, women of all skill levels have come together to compete in the PLAYING FOR A PURPOSE doubles tennis tournament organized by Together We Thrive. This year, the tournament will take place at the beautiful indoor Lifetime Tennis Center in Plano, Texas. Registration opens on Wednesday, January 3rd at 8:30 am, and the event will be held on February 3, 2024, starting at 2:30 pm indoors at Life Time Tennis Plano. Make sure to arrive early, as check-in begins at 1:30 pm and warm-up starts at 2:00 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to warm up with a 30-minute drill led by Umang Chadda, the director of Lifetime Tennis. The registration fee is $25, and all proceeds will go to Together We Thrive. Delicious dinner will be provided by Torchy's Tacos at 5:45 pm for players, and dinner tickets are available for purchase online for friends and family. In addition to the excitement of the tournament, there will be Winners Gifts, a Silent Auction, and the opportunity to purchase Mystery Bags and Heads & Tails tickets. Mulligans will also be available for purchase at the tournament, allowing each player one mulligan per round to be used on their serve or return.
