Experience the artistic ambiance of a French Cafe in Paris while actually in Wynwood, Miami. Join the Oui Oui La Poterie event at Casa Mida, hosted by OCISLY Ceramics. This 2-hour wheel throwing workshop is perfect for beginners looking to explore their creative side. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of French music as you learn the art of ceramics on a pottery wheel. During the class, you will receive guidance on the basics of clay, pottery, and clay preparation. With over 3 lbs of clay provided, you can create simple shapes like bowls, vases, or ashtrays. All necessary materials, tools, and equipment will be provided, including the pottery wheel. Once you've shaped your piece, we will fire and clear-glaze it for you. Please note that this class is not meant to make you a master ceramist, but rather to provide a fun and relaxing experience. Limited parking is available, so we recommend ride-sharing or street parking. We understand that life is a lesson in letting go, so some pieces may not survive the firing process.
