This year's Lantern Festival features newly designed giant lanterns inspired by animals, flowers, and the vibrant atmosphere of Philadelphia this summer! Stroll through the dazzling light displays, admire exquisite light sculptures, and feel the brilliance of light, art, and traditional Chinese culture intertwined. In addition to the illuminated lanterns, festival tickets include three live stage performances each night, each featuring: face-changing, table foot juggling, hat stick juggling, head balancing, and space walking. The fountain show at the Rendall Family Fountain in Franklin Square will be themed around the song "Little Apple" by the Chopstick Brothers, a song that can only be heard during the Lantern Festival! Other performances that evening included: Dua Lipa's "Levitating"; Bill Conti's "Gonna Fly Now" (the theme song from the movie *Rocky*); U2's "Beautiful Day"; Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World"; Boyzone's "Motownphilly"; Katy Perry's "Firework"; Howard Ashman's "Under the Sea" (from the movie *The Little Mermaid*); and The Beach Boys' "Fun, Fun, Fun." New track for 2026: Elton John's "Philadelphia Freedom."
