The Open House & Artist Reception will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm. This event is free and by Invitation ONLY, offering a splendid opportunity to explore our latest exhibitions and potentially discover your next favorite artist. The Gift of Trees Exhibition explores the profound fascination that people have with this natural wonder. Over the course of history, the depiction of trees has been a recurring theme in art, transcending the boundaries of time. Join us as we delve into the diverse approaches employed by artists over the centuries.

The Ode to Richmond Exhibition draws inspiration from the eloquent poem Ode to Richmond penned by Roscoe Burnems, RVA's esteemed First Poet Laureate of 2021. We eagerly anticipate the diverse and creative expressions that will emerge as artists explore and interpret the essence of Richmond through their artistic lenses.

The Encorepreneurs! Exhibition showcases artists who are members of Encorepreneur!, an organization for area leaders who are thinking about "what's next" in their careers and personal lives. With this exhibit, we will explore "what's next" with these talented artists.

The exhibitions will be on display from May 17 to June 30, 2024, with hours from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 5pm, and Sundays from Noon to 4pm. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the May Open House & Artist Reception at Crossroads Art Center in Richmond. Admission is free.
