The Kiln Forming Level Two Casting Workshop, known as "Casting with Fiber," is a must-attend event for individuals looking to advance their skills in kiln forming. Hosted by SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass and Gallery in Fort Worth, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the art of casting with fiber paper. Designed for individuals aged 14 and above, this two-session workshop spans a total duration of six hours, with each session lasting three hours. With a class size limit of six participants, attendees can expect personalized attention and guidance from the instructor. Prior to attending this workshop, participants are required to complete the Kiln Forming Survey II prerequisite. During the workshop, participants will focus on creating intricate designs using layered fiber paper and will have the chance to design and create their own dimensional cast block. Basic supplies and tools will be provided, but participants are responsible for bringing their own materials. Glass is available for purchase at the SiNaCa Store.
