Join the Fundamentals of Metalwork welding course at The Weld Space in Plymouth. This one-day course is designed to introduce participants to the basics of metalwork and welding using MMA and MIG welding techniques. Led by experienced metal fabricator and designer Richard Evans, this course is perfect for beginners or anyone interested in learning about MMA and MIG welding or fabricating their own furniture. Throughout the day, participants will receive one-on-one tuition in stick and MIG welding, as well as learn about material preparation using an angle grinder and the safe use of workshop machinery for cutting. The course will cover welding tuition and practice, material preparation, cutting, and metal finishing techniques - all essential skills for fabricating objects in metal. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to construct their own contemporary Plant Stand using mild steel. This hands-on experience will provide attendees with a practical understanding of MMA welding, sawing metal, material preparation, and general fabrication and finishing techniques.
