Launched in 1989 as the world's first science festival, the Edinburgh Science Festival is still the UK's largest science festival, offering a fantastic range of experiences for all ages, including exhibitions, events, workshops, performances, screenings and discussions between the world's leading scientific minds. The annual festival takes place across the city in galleries, museums, public spaces and more. These events are accompanied by a host of fun, engaging activities and serious and illuminating scientific debates on everything from quantum physics to environmental ethics!
