Details

Diapente: Toronto’s Only Renaissance Vocal Quintet, presented by The Friends of Music at St. Thomas's, showcases the exceptional talent of this renowned vocal ensemble. Featuring Jane Fingler on soprano, Peter Koniers on countertenor, Alexander Cappellazzo on tenor, Jonathan Stuchbery on tenor and lute, and Martin Gomes on bass, Diapente promises an unforgettable evening of exquisite music. The concert will take place at the historic St. Thomas's Anglican Church, located just one block south of Bloor and one block west of St. George TTC station. Unfortunately, St. Thomas's is not yet an accessible venue. However, the event organizers have arranged a pre-concert chat with the artists at 6:45 PM, hosted by the esteemed Larry Beckwith. This offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the music and connect with the performers on a deeper level. To attend this remarkable performance, admission is pay-what-you-wish, with a suggested donation of $40. Following the concert, there will be a reception where attendees can mingle and reflect on the beauty of the music. Don't miss out on this extraordinary evening of Renaissance vocal music by Diapente. Mark your calendars for March 15, 2024, and reserve your spot at St. Thomas's Anglican Church for an experience that will transport you to another era.
