The William Rockhill Nelson Museum of Art is located in Kansas City, Missouri. The museum broke ground in 1930 and opened to the public for the first time in 1933. It is one of the largest art museums in the Midwest of the United States. The collections of the Nelson Museum of Art are mainly divided into Asian Department, European Paintings, American Paintings and Others.
