Mountain View Oktoberfest | Mountain View
Celebration
Mountain View, CA—October 10-11, 2026—Get your Dirndl and Lederhosen ready! The Mountain View Beer Festival celebrates its 10th annual event! This beloved two-day Bavarian-style celebration, hosted by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, returns on a bigger scale. The event takes place Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., covering the stretch of Castro Street from Church Street to Mercy Street.
Starting in 2013 as a small collaboration between Steins Beer Garden, Tied House Brewery, and the Chamber of Commerce, the event has grown into one of the most anticipated cultural events in the San Francisco Bay Area. In recent years, attendance has exceeded 10,000 people.
The Mountain View Oktoberfest, with its authentic character, warm hospitality, and genuine "Gemütlichkeit" (German-style cozy gathering atmosphere), has become a beloved event for the local community. This year, the festival has expanded its venue in downtown Mountain View to accommodate the growing crowds and community enthusiasm. Participants can relax under the event's iconic 200-foot-long Festzelt tent, enjoying beer in authentic glass mugs and boot-shaped glasses, along with a selection of classic German beers and wines, traditional Bavarian cuisine, and live music.
