2026 Full Moon Paddles | Forebay Aquatic Center
Cultural Experiences
Join us to watch the sun set and the full moon rise during a semi-guided group paddle on the beautiful Oroville Forebay!
Enjoy a 3-hour evening paddle and experience the Forebay in a whole new way. This relaxing trip offers a chance to connect with nature, spot local wildlife, stargaze, and enjoy a peaceful paddle with friends, family, or a partner - perfect for a unique date night.
Concerned about paddling after dark? The moon provides surprising visibility, and our experienced staff will guide you safely back to the well-lit launch area.
Participants may choose a single or tandem kayak, or a stand-up paddleboard. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all trip details in advance, and a waiver must be signed at check-in (approximately 45 minutes before sunset).
Important Policies
The use of our kayaks and paddleboards are included with the price of admission. No outside watercraft is allowed.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on all trips.
