We aim to bring you an empowering experience embodied in a full range of male movement and function. We invite men who are comfortable observing and drawing the male form in a variety of poses and themes in a relaxed and private environment. The studio is an intimate space allowing you to be physically closer to the model therefore being to focus on detail when desired. A small amount of materials are available to use at the studio but please bring your own if possible. IMPORTANT -STRICTLY NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO -18+

The Filling Station Book Tour with Author Vanessa Miller | Charlotte Mecklenburg Library - Hickory Grove
Mar 14, 2025 (UTC-5)
Grove
The Filling Station is the most important book I have ever written. It is not only about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre but also about the resilience of black people because it shows how they pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and rebuilt what had been destroyed by an angry white mob. With the Department of Justice opening an investigation into this 103-year-old massacre a couple of weeks ago (https://apnews.com/article/1921-tulsa-race-massacre-justice-department-review-ea6551dc40c73996c3bf7e0a3ad3b06d) and Oprah Winfrey filming a mini docu-series on Black Wall Street, there will be renewed interest in the most horrific attack against blacks on American soil.
