The 2026 Taipei Lantern Festival will be grandly held from February 25 to March 15, 2026. The event will take place in the convenient and vibrant yet traditional Western District of Taipei, stretching from MRT Beimen Station to Huayin Street along Section 1 of Zhonghua Road, covering Beimen Station Exit 1 Plaza, Beimen Plaza, Zhongshan Hall Plaza, Red House Plaza in Ximen, and areas around Ximen MRT Station. The main lantern will be located in the Zhongshan Hall Plaza. Around the Lantern Festival, spectacular lantern displays and performances will be featured, including IP-themed lantern sets, themed lantern installations, lanterns from friendly countries and cities, and entries from the national lantern competition. A series of activities will also be launched to create a festive atmosphere, inviting the public and families to admire the lanterns and spend a wonderful Lantern Festival together. Since its first lighting at Ren’ai Circle in 1997, the Taipei Lantern Festival has accompanied citizens for nearly thirty years. In 2026, the festival will be held simultaneously in the “Flower Expo Area” and “Ximen Area.” Through the integration of the two zones and collaboration with two internationally renowned IPs for lantern displays, the festival will showcase Taipei’s diverse and unique urban charm at the cultural and natural fusion Yuanshan Flower Expo Park and the trendy Ximending. The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), one of the world’s premier esports competitions, is set to reach a historic milestone. The LCK Cup 2026 Finals will, for the first time, be held outside Korea and officially land in Hong Kong, taking place at Kai Tak Arena from 28 February to 1 March 2026. Ticket prices are HKD$1,688, $1,388, $1,188, $888, $688, and $488, respectively. PAYKOOL credit card holders can participate in priority booking via HK Ticketing on January 29, 2026. Public sales will officially commence on January 30, 2026. The event has been recognized as an official “M Mark” major sports event in Hong Kong, signifying that a world‑class esports tournament has made its home in Asia’s World City and marking LCK’s historic step onto the global stage beyond Korea. Cyber Games Arena (CGA) has joined forces with the LCK organizer to bring, for the first time, this tournament that represents the highest level of League of Legends competition to an overseas audience. The Finals are expected to attract over 10,000 spectators per day over two consecutive days, making it one of the most anticipated esports events in Asia in early 2026. In addition to the main competition, a Festival Zone will be set up inside the venue during the event period and opened free of charge to the public. This will allow members of the public and esports enthusiasts who are unable to purchase event tickets to still enjoy the intense atmosphere of the LCK Cup Finals 2026 Hong Kong in person. Each ticket is for one person only. Long umbrellas are not allowed inside the venue. If you have the aforementioned items, please follow the instructions of venue staff to deposit them. ꔷTicket holders may not carry or use any remote-controlled flying equipment or toys (e.g., model helicopters, drones, drone photography equipment, etc.). ꔷTicket holders may not bring any items, food, or drinks (including glass bottles) that may affect the competition or cause nuisance or inconvenience to other spectators into the venue. ꔷConsiderations will be given to spectators with special dietary requirements. ꔷTicket holders may not bring any inflatable objects lighter than air, regardless of material (e.g., balloons), or any dangerous goods, weapons, sprays, or sharp objects into the performance venue.
