Ulanqab Winter Tourism Festival | Ulanqab
Celebration
This winter, in accordance with the unified deployment of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and the Autonomous Region People's Government, Ulanqab City has taken the autonomous region's "Singing Tour of Inner Mongolia, Happy Ice and Snow Season" as the main line, "The invitation of ice and snow from Inner Mongolia, one step west to ski" as the theme, and "stargazing, moon-watching, volcano-touring" and "skiing, food, and hot springs" as the main product structure. Starting from November 16, 2024, and ending in early March 2025, it has planned and launched a "100 Days and 100 Events" winter tourism series of activities. Ice and snow fun sports games, hot pot banquets for thousands of people, large-scale fireworks shows, drone light shows and other activities will run through the entire winter, providing tourists with an immersive play experience, allowing tourists to "fall in love with volcanoes, regardless of winter and summer". Tourists can "appreciate the volcanic snow scenery, stay in volcanic homestays, taste volcanic hot pot, light brilliant fireworks, and watch the vast starry sky" around the volcano. Electronic music festivals and fireworks shows are held at the foot of the volcano every week, and tourists can personally experience the explosive atmosphere of "volcano disco and snowfield singing".
At the same time, Ulanqab will continue to hold a series of folk activities around traditional festivals such as New Year's Day, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival, taking you to experience the ice and snow tourists Nadam in Siziwang Banner, the home of Shenzhou, approaching the Chaer Lake in Xinghe County to experience the hot scene of winter fishing, going to Zhuozi County to pray around Jiuqu and appreciate the charm of intangible cultural heritage, rushing to Linhu Gusai to see the cute pandas, crossing the Red Stone Cliff to enjoy the snow scenery in the mountains, staying in Liangcheng Mapao Hot Spring to wash away your fatigue, and spend a different winter in Ulanqab where "ice and fire compete for beauty, and people and scenery blend together."
