Speakers:
Jeremy Dick
is a Business Development Consultant with People Corporation, where he works with organizations to design and manage group benefits programs with a focus on cost control, sustainability, and client outcomes. He brings nearly 20 years of experience with Canada Life, where he built and managed a diverse block of group benefits clients ranging from small businesses with just a few employees to large organizations with thousands of lives.
Today, Jeremy partners with advisors, HR leaders, and business owners to help them better understand what’s driving renewals, how to position strategy with clients, and where opportunities exist to improve plan design and long-term stability. His approach is practical and market-driven—focused on giving clients the tools and insights they need to have stronger renewal conversations and deliver more value to their clients.
Lori Paradis, Account Executive
Lori joined Manulife in 1998 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry to her role as an Account Executive. Working in partnerships with plan sponsors and advisors, Lori is integral to creating and supporting plans that meet clients’ needs and objectives. She draws on her range of experience to share ways to increase member engagement and to attract and retain quality employees, all through the strengths of their employer’s retirement program.
Lori has completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course, is enrolled in the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program and is a member of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute.
Cory
Hucklack
began his career in the financial services industry in 2011 as an independent broker while completing his CFL career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. A two time Grey Cup champion winning in 2009 with the Montreal and in 2013 with Saskatchewan, Cory retired from professional football to focus on his family and growing his financial services practice.
As an independent broker, Cory focused on wealth management, financial planning and both group and individual insurance solutions. In 2019, he transitioned his business to focus exclusively on employee benefits to focus exclusively on group benefits, joining HUB International as an employee benefit consultant where he worked from 2019-2022.
Seeking further insight into the insurer perspective, Cory joined Manulife as a small business account executive from 2022 - 2025, gaining valuable experience and relationships on the carrier side. He now brings his well rounded expertise to his role with People Corporation and GroupQuest.
Outside of the professional world, Cory enjoys spending time with his kids, either coaching his son on the football field or supporting his daughter on the softball diamond.
