Waiver:
At Pulse, we believe chemistry is better in motion. Every experience we create is intentionally designed to be energizing, elevated, and thoughtfully curated. Your safety, comfort, and overall experience are central to our standards. To maintain a secure, professional, and high-quality environment for all participants and partners, we ask that you review the following agreement before taking part in the event. By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to the terms below.
Participant Agreement, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
1. Voluntary Participation
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily choosing to participate in the Pulse fitness dating event (“Event”), which includes structured and unstructured physical exercise activities conducted inside a gym facility at which I am not a member.
I understand that my participation is entirely voluntary and that I may withdraw at any time.
2. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
I understand that physical exercise and gym-based activities involve inherent and unavoidable risks. These risks may arise from my own actions, the actions of others, the condition of the premises, or the use of equipment.
Risks include, but are not limited to:
Muscle strains, sprains, tears, or soreness
Slips, trips, falls, or collisions
Equipment malfunction or misuse
Dizziness, dehydration, or fainting
Aggravation of pre-existing conditions
Serious injury, permanent disability, or death
I understand that I will be participating in activities with other individuals in a dynamic, social fitness environment.
I knowingly and freely assume full responsibility for all risks — both known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable — arising out of or related to my participation in the Event and use of the gym facilities.
3. Health & Physical Condition Representation
I represent and warrant that:
I am physically fit and sufficiently prepared to participate.
I do not have any medical condition that would make participation unsafe.
I have not been advised by a medical professional to avoid strenuous physical activity.
I accept full responsibility for consulting a physician prior to participation if I have any concerns.
I agree to immediately stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, discomfort, or any unusual symptoms.
Pulse is not providing medical advice, medical supervision, or individualized training instruction.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue:
Pulse, its founders, organizers, employees, contractors, hosts, trainers, volunteers, and affiliates
The gym facility, its owners, managers, employees, and agents
Any sponsors or partners associated with the Event
(collectively, the “Released Parties”)
from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to:
Personal injury
Property damage
Economic loss
Emotional distress
Death
whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
5. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
My participation in the Event
My actions or conduct during the Event
Any damage I cause to persons or property
6. Facility Use & Conduct
I acknowledge that:
I am not a member of the hosting gym facility.
I am being granted temporary access solely for the purpose of this Event.
I must comply with all facility rules, posted guidelines, and staff instructions.
I agree to conduct myself in a respectful, safe, and responsible manner. Unsafe, reckless, harassing, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
7. Media Release
I grant Pulse the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, voice, and name in connection with the Event for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes, without compensation. I acknowledge that I can opt-out on the day.
8. Alcohol (If Applicable)
If alcohol is served at any portion of the Event, I acknowledge that physical activity will occur prior to consumption. I accept full responsibility for my decisions and conduct related to alcohol use.
9. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
10. Binding Agreement
I acknowledge that:
I have read this Agreement carefully and understand its contents.
I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights.
Purchasing a ticket is my agreement to this waiver.
This Agreement is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
