Rented a car during our recent cruise vacation when the cruise ship docked at Nagasaki for a day. It was super value for money as we used the car to visit Huis Ten Bosch and also to travel around Nagasaki. Definitely worth it!

I received a new car, and the navigation system had Korean instructions. However, the destination had to be written in Japanese pronunciation. I didn't know how to find the map code, so I searched for the address or destination name and confirmed the address. Just in case, I also turned on Google Maps on my phone, and there were no problems, so I just used the navigation. The gas tank was full and refilled, and I needed a receipt. I think it was to confirm that I filled it within a 5-kilometer radius. The hotel check-in time was ambiguous, so I asked to store my luggage, and they did.๐ Oh, the instructions for the pickup location were a bit vague, so I went around in circles. When you exit Nagasaki Station, there's Amu Plaza, and right next to it is the Marriott Hotel. If you go straight into the alley between the hotels, you'll see the pickup office right away. Or, you can find a coin locker outside the station. It's just a short walk down that road. Thanks to this, I was able to see Unzen Hell and had a comfortable trip~^^

I wandered around for a long time because the pickup location was different from the map. The staff couldn't speak any English and insisted on using only Japanese even when I used Papago. It was frustrating. The pickup process took a long time.
