Fantastic car! Very easy to drive! Unfortunately, we weren't familiar with the roads in Sicily, which led to some minor collisions in narrow alleys. Luckily, we had full coverage insurance. I highly recommend getting full coverage insurance before traveling to Sicily.

The car was fine. The problem is they always put pressure on you, saying that if you don't take out their insurance, in case of an accident you have to pay €2500 upfront. We bought insurance online when we rented it, and their insurance is way too expensive.

The car was perfect, a Toyota hybrid, comfortable to drive, clean. Once we had a problem with it not starting, and they immediately offered to exchange it. But then it wouldn't start again, so we kept it for the whole week. Well done!!!

The car is “Sicilian” perfect condition. It is not pristine but OK. Surprisingly good to drive and fuel saving. We did 600km drive and only had to fuel up once.

The car rental and pick-up point is about an 8-minute walk from the airport. The vehicles are new and clean, and the rental and pick-up process is convenient, but the front desk staff kept pushing me to buy insurance, which made me feel pressured.

The signage from airport to Europcar counter was quite clear, and pick up was so easy - very friendly staff who even gave us some food recommendation around the area! Just be sure to bring your credit card which has your name & card numbers on it - they are quite strict about this. Mobile payment (Apple Pay etc) would not work. We got the full coverage insurance from Europcar and Trip.com, and only topped up around €7 per day for full roadside assistance which was affordable. Return was also very easy back to the same parking lot as pick up, and similarly friendly staff. Great impression and would be happy to use Europcar again next time. Thank you

Avis also introduced insurance top up but the way of presentation is much better than Hertz that I had experienced in Milan earlier on. The car is also very new providing a better driving experience.
