Picking up and returning the car is convenient; there's a counter right outside the exit gate where you can complete the formalities. After completing the formalities, simply go outside to pick up your car, and to return it, park it directly at the pick-up location. The keys are kept in a small box outside the store. The cars are new, clean, and tidy. It can accommodate 5 people and 5 pieces of luggage.

The car was in good condition, and picking it up was easy! Returning the car only required handing the keys back to the counter, which made me a little nervous; they didn't even need to check if there were any problems with the car! (Although I didn't have any scratches or bumps). I could only board the plane and leave New Zealand with a heavy heart! Thankfully, no customer service contacted me, which put my mind at ease.

We arrived late at customs and were late picking up our car, so the car we had booked was given to someone else. The staff said they thought we weren't coming, so they gave it to someone else, even though we had already paid. They eventually gave us another car, which we didn't really like, but we had no other choice. The staff were very helpful.

I was surprised that they give me a car better than the model I booked for. The hybrid version RAV4 indeed served us very well as we drove from Christchurch to Milford Sound and back with several stops along the way. The car internal space was spacious and very comfortable for front and back passengers.
