This is an excellent hotel if you travel to this city of Japan. Hotel is just inside the train terminal and no need to walk outside. Room is big relative to other hotel. Most importantly, the reception team are very helpful. Strongly suggest
This is my second time staying here, and it has a luxurious feel and is very relaxing. The washroom and bath are spacious and clean. There are many inbound tourists, but they are not noisy and it is a nice atmosphere. I would like to use it again.
Good value with exceptional service
We were extremely satisfied with the services and had a delightful experience in that hotel.
Our package included room, breakfast and dinner. Due to a minor traffic incident, we were unable to meet our dinner time of 6:00 pm. We contacted the hotel and they kindly accommodated us and provided attentive service. We were deeply touched by their care and consideration.
The assistance to report of the traffic incident to the local insurance company was unexpectedly smooth with the help of the staff. The language proficiency of the staff was impressive, as they efficiently resolved language-related issues we faced.
Furthermore, the traditional charm of the hotel exceeded our expectations and added to our enjoyment - good value.
We will recommend the hotel to others and look forward to visiting again in the future.
Special thanks to Ms. Oromo Rie, Mr. Toyama, and the staff responsible for our meals.

Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel is located at midst of Nagoya City and just directly above the Nagoya Station. You are basically can go anywhere from there by intercity trains to remote locations or by metro subways to local nearby point of interests (POI) and it is super convenience. There are lot of shopping malls and good F&B / sake shops around and you will never feeling tired to try and explore. The guest room hygiene is good as expected and I liked the hot water supply and temperature inside the bathtub. I found that the hot water supply and temperature in those Marriott-series hotel is far more better than those nowadays contemporary / modern hotels, which is so important to a tourist like me to take a relax after a whole-day travel visit in different POIs.
The room has a spectacular view of the Nagoya skyline, with rooms located above 33 levels and above.
Room service was immaculate and provided kids amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes, and pyjamas. Service staff were all friendly and always ready to help.
Location wise, it's sheltered all the way from level 2 to subway, which is just 1 stop away from the busy Nagoya Station. For people who like a good morning workout, it's just a 15-minute walk to Nagoya. Along the way, you can grab Starbucks or McDonald's. The popular Komeda Coffee chain is also just a 5-minute stroll away.
There is also a convenience shop like 7-11 within the same building as the hotel and a Drugstore Matsumoto for you to buy a wide assortment of skincare and makeup!

Beautifully decorated in December for christmas. Although older building, hotel was well maintained and staff friendly. Limited English though. Rooms a little dark (orange lighting) but ideal for a good night's rest. Best for free parking.

After I checked into room 1517, lots of strange things happened. It made me feel very sick and items in the room moved and my phone constantly dropped from the flat desk. I literally vomited over 10 times the moment I stepped into that room.
Anyway contacted trip.com and they couldn’t do anything to help. Was pretty disappointed with trip.com as I am already a diamond member and was held on the line for over 30min for literally nothing. The hotline staff kept telling me Japanese speaking staff not available and no progress.
Fortunately I called front desk and at first they told me they would charge me $63800 yen for a switch of room, then they sent someone up to the room and agreed to switch me to another room for free after they noticed the problem. New room with the view of the TV tower and everything was fine. Location is great but wouldn’t stay there again personally.

Glad to stay here, staff was very helpful and friendly. Room size seems a bit small, but it's comfortable and my 28” luggage can open easily. Hotel location is in 10min. walk from Nagoya sta. and easier to find if you are out from meitetsu line side. Breakfast start from 06:30, with acceptable quality and quantity.

Although it’s a three-star hotel, it is a great hotel for one to three people to stay in. The hotel is nice and quiet, most rooms come with free breakfast buffet coupons (which are limited but still nice enough) and the beds are quite big. The wifi works quite well and the rooms are big enough for three. I’m not sure if there are conjoining rooms, but it they will be recommended for families of four and above. There aren’t many guests in the hotel, and most of them are businessmen.
The hotel is also at a convenient location—there is Lawson in front of it, a 7-11 behind it and a Family Mart northeast of it(across the street). It is a short walk of 3min away from JR Nagoya Stn.
Some bad things about the hotel are that the TV’s programs are all in Japanese, and even the CNN is translated into Japanese, so I recommend you use your phones or tablets to watch the shows you like. There also isn’t a window and the aircon is quite weak, so it gets stuffy sometimes. However, apart from that, it is quite an enjoyable stay!!

Hotel offer complimentary coffee and tea at the. lobby as well as simple breakfast of bread buns and pastries. The room is really small and opening your luggages is a challenge. The bed mattress is very uncomfortable.

GGuest UserSituated right next to the Aeon supermarket and within 5 minutes walking distance to the Kanayama JR and subway train stations, the single room was surprisingly spacious and had all the amenities for a comfortable 2-night stay.
JjunhoI stayed here during my trip to Nagoya.
1. location
It has some locational advantages to look around Nagoya. This hotel is really close to Hisaya Odori station, and still quite close to Sakae station as well. It'll be a great benefit to travelers those planning to use Metro while traveling. We can reach many spots without transfer. Plus, many convenience stores nearby and Mirai tower is only about 5 min away.
2. service
I loved thier service. Some of staff can speak English, while some of them can merely understand a few words. But still they try their best to help us by using translators. Also they land us several things that you might need for long travel. (For example, nail clippers, chargers, etc) Plus, you can ask them about some tour information that you might find hard to search.
To add some, during my trip to Nagoya, I visited Takayama for 3 days. After that, I came back to Nagoya. During my trip to Takayama, they kept some of my luggage. So I didn't need to carry my suitcase all the way to Takayama. I loved there service.
3. facility
I didn't find much difficulties during my stays in this hotel. I slept well here. The only thing to point out is that refrige is not that big and its refrigeration is poor. But, still okay to cool down some beverages to carry around sufficiently so it was fine for me. Considering its price, that's good enough.
Plus, there is coin laundry(washing machine and drier) and ice machine.
4. cleanliness
As many hotels in Japan, the hotel is clean.
Overall, I was satisfied about the stay in this hotel, and willing to stay here when I have a chance to visit Nagoya again.
(+) p.s. For those who travel alone like me might not need many things from hotel, but you've got to spend money for accommodation since you are using room alone. This hotel will surely be a good choice for you.

GGuest UserThe pillow case looked like it had not been changed and the pillow was not hard enough. When I would like to have one more pillow, the front desk staff asked me to go down to take the pillow instead of sending it to my room…
KkyI recently stayed at this hotel and came away with a really positive impression. The property is clearly new, and the management does an excellent job maintaining its pristine condition. Everything from the lobby to the rooms sparkled with cleanliness.
One feature I particularly appreciated was the coin-operated laundry facility. It came in handy during my extended stay and saved me from having to search for a laundromat in an unfamiliar area. The machines were well-maintained and reasonably priced.
A heads-up for future guests - while the hotel is near the station, it's a bit of a trek on foot, especially if you're carrying luggage. You might want to consider taking a taxi, particularly if you're arriving late or during bad weather. The walk took me about 15-20 minutes, which isn't terrible, but it's something to keep in mind when planning your arrival.
Despite the slight distance from the station, I would definitely book this hotel again. The combination of the modern facilities, cleanliness, and convenient amenities like the laundry room made for a really comfortable stay. It offered great value for money, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
SSophiachiaWould have given all 5 stars if not for the noise from the trains. Nonetheless I do recommend for those who are not sensitive to noise to stay at the hotel. The noise is quite bearable and it was surprisingly therapeutic to watch Shinkansen and local trains from my floor (level 23). The location is prime as it is just above Takashimaya, Uniqlo, GU, and close to JR station, subway and AirPort Express. I opted for breakfast and enjoyed the variety it offered. Not forgetting they allowed to deposit my luggage for 3 nights ahead of my stay. Love their flexibility!
CCharDougThe Comfort hotel is in a convenient location, not far from the JR lines, Shinkansen and bus terminal. Conbinis and restaurants are all close by too. If you prefer to, the bus stop for buses to the train station is only about 3mins away. The breakfast is the usual standard for all Comfort hotels in Japan, which is tasty, sufficient and filling!
MMan ChiHighly recommended hotel-
1: Very good location (5 mins walk to JR)
2: Friendly staff, can speak simple English
3: Very nice view with big window, if you pay a little bit more) you are guaranteed to enjoy high floor view.
4: Downstairs of hotel has a big convenience store.
5: I really want to appreciate the staff from reception (Overnight shift - Very tall, skinny and wearing glasses). He helped me a lot since I lost my luggage key,I even approached him at 3 am, he was very patient and professional, help to find some other solutions, and he follow up with me in the next day and helped me again, even I experienced a bad time of lost the keys, but he made me feel I am so lucky and supportive! I really want to come back this hotel and Nagoya. Really appreciated for his kindles and support 🧡 - from a Hong Konger 🇭🇰
GGuest UserThe hotel is new so the room is nice and big and very modern. I think if traveling as a couple can be really nice, coz the swimming pool and the gym as well as the free yoga class arranged in the early morning can be really attractive. But we have a six years old boy traveling together who really wants to go swimming. But unfortunately, kids below 16 years old are not allowed to use the the swimming pool. So we were a little bit disappointed since while choose this hotel and the JW near Nagoya station, I chose TIAD coz it’s newer and also with nice swimming pool. Such Information about restrictions should be provided by the hotel to let travelers know so that family with kids can make more informed decisions.
CchiuGeographically very ideal. It is close to the metro and directly above the bus station, located in the heart of the city, and surrounded by shops and restaurants of all kind. Yet it is still not difficult to navigate.
The hotel service was supreme with very kind staff that are fluent in different languages and prompt with helping the residents.
The hotel room is up to par. It’s clean and spacious with all the equipment you require, like kettles and hair dryer. Furniture includes a desk and a moderately-sized television. Even though it’s close to the metro it is quiet in the hotel room.
Overall a satisfying stay. Would recommend.
