Planning an autumn getaway from Singapore to Osaka? Universal Studios Japan is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights with exclusive merchandise, themed food and frightening new experiences.

Running from 11 September to 8 November 2026, Halloween Horror Nights promises an “extreme horror” experience where everything is out of the ordinary. This year’s highlights include the first-ever collaboration between Junji Ito’s masterpiece “Tomie” and USJ’s iconic “Street Zombies”, alongside “creepy-cute” characters and limited-edition food.

Japanese horror fans will not want to miss this exclusive collaboration created for Universal Studios Japan’s 25th anniversary.

Junji Ito’s specially drawn artwork shows Tomie—his famously beautiful character who repeatedly returns to life—arriving at a zombie-filled USJ with a defiant smile. Another design features Tomie wearing the same uniform as this year’s high school zombie while holding a popular Hami-Kuma plush toy.

The collection includes:

  • T-shirts
  • Notebook with stickers
  • Face towel
  • Lip-gloss keychain with charms

The merchandise will be available at Studio Styles from 9 September 2026. Designs, release dates and retail locations may change, while selected items could sell out.

The Halloween celebration is not only for hardcore horror fans. Familiar park characters will appear in dark yet adorable costumes inspired by Street Zombies.

Look out for:

  • Snoopy dressed as a cursed doll
  • Zombie versions of Hello Kitty, My Melody and Kuromi
  • Out-of-control Minions dressed as Frankenstein
  • Halloween favourite Hami-Kuma

The range includes plush toys, T-shirts, character keychains and pair keychains—ideal souvenirs for Singapore visitors who enjoy collecting exclusive Japanese character merchandise.

USJ is also introducing themed set meals suitable for lunch or dinner.
