Lovely greeting. All very straight forward. Was an evening check-in so we were tired. Hotel looked a tad tired too - seen better days. Ground floor room so didn’t feel secure opening window at night. Turned radiator off to cool room down for sleeping. Was a stuffy nights sleep but a good sleep considering. Comfy, clean bed. Smoke alarm flashing green light was annoying - but I managed to sleep away fm facing it. Breakfast was just ok - a little disappointing. Sausages only ok. Scrambled eggs a bit rubbery. Mushrooms dry and tasteless. Bacon and fried bread good. Toast and spreads and hot drinks machine ok. Shame couldn’t take fresh coffee fm machine back to room … there was a notice saying not allowed. Basic bathroom as expected with shower hvg plenty of hot water … win. No-one on desk when left … box to post door key into.

The hotel is quite large and conveniently located near Gatwick Airport's South Terminal, accessible via an indoor walkway in under 10 minutes. Despite its proximity to the airport, there's absolutely no airplane noise, making for a very quiet stay in the room. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, excellent cleanliness, and complete facilities. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and the internet speed is fast. The staff are also very friendly. Overall, it offers great value for money.

A great overnight stay situated in Gatwick South Ccompact room was adequate for what we needed. Comfortable bed & very clean bathroom. We will definitely stay there again when travelling early for a flight.

The hotel was very accessible from Gatwick. A short and cheap bus ride away. The hotel itself was not in the best location but that was my responsibility tbh. The staff both at reception and restaurant were really helpful and friendly. The Spa was small and busy but again perfectly good. The room itself was good though I felt I couldn’t control the temp very well and found it a little chilly. Again, my responsibility to let them know but I didn’t. I’d definitely go again if I had my own transport but not otherwise.

Ideal location beside the promenade; facing peaceful green gardens and view of sea - so best of both. Friendly reception, we were given an upgrade on arrival. I was glad to have booked in good time at a very fair rate. A Canadian male on front desk especially welcoming as was a very patient, sunny young woman - both dealing with some pressure in person and on the phone, as hotel rooms were all full. The same cheerful coping/cooperation was evident next morning when breakfast demand was high. The hotel displays an Award received for the high quality of its Breakfasts. Plenty of choice for full English cooked and options for lighter Continental, including fresh fruit salad. Building is old, historic and characterful, clean and well-tended (the flowers in Reception were real) - the very opposite of stark modern blocks. The room was small but adequate for our needs/short stay, with comfortable twin beds, both windows were open to cooling air. Shower very easy to operate; it is within the bath itself so requires some agility to access. Parking is on-street, we were outside front door (card £1.80 per hour, cash in multiples of 90p for 30 mins); it is possible to 'over-pay' overnight, so there is no morning rush to avoid a Fine first thing. We were visiting for a funeral, at which I was to speak, and stayed one night; it was peaceful to rest after travelling and to prepare for the Service. Chatsworth was a good choice for us and we can recommend.

Hotel was in a good location. The hotel was very quiet considering it was at the services room was clean. Staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was very good value would recommend as a one night stop over.

The hotel looks very 1970s from the outside however the Inside is modern, very clean and excellent staff. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful. The room was very comfortable and as we booked a premier king size had ample space. The coffee machine was a nice touch. Well recommended.

It's a no frills hotel. Got the job done. I booked as I have an early morning flight like many others who stay in this hotel (or those arriving late at night) Story: so I came to the hotel about one and a half hours early, around 1330-ish. The front desk staff said I can ”check in early” for £50. That's almost what I paid for the booking for a mere 90 min of stay. Point no 1. Point no 2. Context: I haven't read through the hotel policy prior. So I asked the front desk staff if I could leave my luggage there so that my wife and I plus our baby could go grab a bite in the town while waiting for 3 pm. The staff could have easily said no and I would have understood. No biggie. But then he said something ridiculous, that I can store my 3 pieces of luggage for £3 each as a donation for a children's hospital. Now if the hotel policy is no storage just said so, no need to try guilt trip customers into paying for something when it's clearly your KPI to achieve, not mine. Stop deceiving and guilt tripping costumers.

I stayed here for 2 nights. Overall, the hotel was okay. The room was clean but felt a bit old. It was also quite noisy, as I could hear sounds from other guests, which made it hard to fully relax. On the bright side, the breakfast was great—good variety and quality—and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a small issue with my booking. The restaurant staff told me that my room didn’t include breakfast, even though I was certain it did. I had to go back and speak with the reception to sort it out, which was a bit inconvenient. Despite that, the stay was generally fine. A few improvements in soundproofing and communication between staff would have made the experience better

First time stay , and was very successful the room, bed , shower / bathroom were all on point. We ate in the pub downstairs as well , food was average , fish & chips . Was all slightly over cooked, which was disappointing, but not a surprise. Food is only as good as the person cooking it, so be it frozen , fresh the attention to detail is on the chef/ cook . Didn't take away from the room though or the stay .
