Both spots unlock stories of Iran’s royal past and living traditions. Morning: Kick off at Golestan Palace (Tehran District 12, Fifth Khordad Avenue Arg Sqr) from 9:00 AM. Wander through dazzling mirror halls and ornate staircases—don't miss snapping a photo of the intricate ceilings and chandeliers, especially if you climb up the grand staircase for that “activity” vibe you captured! Stop to admire the lush palace gardens, and explore the stunning tilework, each piece a masterpiece of Persian artistry. Arrive early to avoid crowds and let yourself soak in the royal atmosphere. Midday: Stroll over to the Tehran Grand Bazaar (Panzdah-e-Khordad St), open till 6:00 PM (closed Fridays). Dive into a labyrinth of stalls—perfect for picking up handicrafts, rugs, or spices.
