Nestled in the Wuyi Mountains, I truly felt like I was living inside the world described in "Ode to the Red Cliff."
This idyllic guesthouse I stayed at in Wuyi Mountain transported me back to the poetic realm of "drifting in a small boat, raising a gourd cup to toast each other!"
LeYe Private Courtyard truly embodies the essence of mountain poetry. Each villa boasts its own private courtyard nestled within a villa complex surrounded by mountains and water. Stone walls and flowers adorn the entrance, koi swim leisurely in the pond, and century-old camphor trees provide ample shade. Stepping outside reveals mist-shrouded peaks, and you're awakened by birdsong in the morning and surrounded by a sky full of stars at night. Falling asleep to the mountain breeze, even the air is filled with the sweet scent of grass and trees.
The log cabin-style rooms are incredibly comforting. The mattresses are soft and plush, and the rooms have bathtubs. Soaking in the tub while gazing at the mountain views instantly washes away all fatigue! There's also a smart control system; just say "Tmall Genie" to control the lights, curtains, and even watch movies—it's incredibly high-tech!
My favorite part was drinking Wuyi rock tea on a bamboo raft. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, dappling the tea table, with rolling green mountains in front of me. It truly gave me a sense of relaxed tranquility, like a boat adrift on a tranquil river, detached from the world.
The butler service was also incredibly attentive. We received welcome fruit, a complimentary mini-bar, professional travel photography, and even free access to the card room, gym, and arcade games. Breakfast was freshly made with a wide variety of options. There was even an abandoned train nearby that looked fantastic for photos! Once you're here, you won't want to leave!
