The East Lake Falling Geese Scenic Area is an important part of the national 5A East Lake Scenic Area. It is bordered by the Baima Scenic Area to the north, the Moshan Scenic Area to the south across the lake, and the Qingwang Road to the east. The total area is 10.24 square kilometers, including 5.92 square kilometers of land and 4.32 square kilometers of water. Since 2000, eight major landscapes and the Squirrel Park have been built, including the Qinghe Ancient Bridge, the Magpie Bridge Meeting, the Yanzhou Rope Bridge, the Luzhou Ancient Ferry, the Zhao Garden, the Ancient Tree Spectacle, the Yanxiping Sand, and the Luzhou Falling Geese. The scenic area is lush with vegetation, wind and waves, intertwined ports, and numerous water birds. The unique natural scenery of the East Lake Scenic Area has created its beautiful ecological environment and landscape. In the early winter, the entire East Lake Scenic Area is like a overturned palette. Under the clear sky, the forests are all dyed, migratory birds are flying, the lake is clear and the bottom is visible, reflecting all the beautiful scenery. Coinciding with the first anniversary of the 14th Conference of the Parties to the "Wetland Convention", East Lake has once again reached a new height of beauty, waiting for you to check in. East Lake is not only the green heart of the city for Wuhan people, but also an ecological paradise for animals. Large areas of vegetation and wetlands attract countless wintering migratory birds to inhabit here. From November to April of the following year is the bird watching season of East Lake, and it has become a custom for Wuhan people to watch birds in East Lake in winter. If you want to choose a bird watching spot in East Lake, it must be the Luoyan Scenic Area. During the bird watching season, the "Walking Chess·Bird Island" in the Luoyan Scenic Area will welcome groups of migratory birds. For photography enthusiasts, when you're in Wuhan, you must visit Luoyan Island! It's an excellent photography spot, very suitable for taking pictures, and the entrance fee is not expensive. Therefore, you will also see many couples taking wedding photos on Luoyan Island, feeling the sweetness of love. Next, let's talk about how to enjoy Luoyan Island. Follow my steps! Step Drive to the north gate of the Luoyan scenic area, purchase a ticket, and start your visit. There are several parking lots near the north gate, but not at the main entrance, about a 5-minute walk. The adult ticket is 13 yuan, and the Luoyan scenery is worth the price! Step After entering the scenic area from the north gate, walk along the shaded road to the lakeside plank road, then walk to the most beautiful pebble beach on Luoyan Island. The trees along the shaded road are ancient and majestic, with deep roots, very spectacular. Along the lakeside plank road, you can enjoy the reeds, juvenile dragonflies, and the 'patrol' of little ducks. The bird-watching area is my favorite part of the entire scenic area, with clear blue water and pebbles connecting the shore to the water surface, providing a vast visual experience. The sporadic, well-designed stone sculptures on the shore and the scene of leaves and branches swaying in the wind inspire endless imagination; at this moment, one just wants to empty their mind and immerse themselves in this scene. We laid out a picnic mat here and quietly enjoyed this view for a very long time. Step After playing on the pebble beach, continue to visit the Nine-Turn Bridge and the bamboo raft area. The Nine-Turn Bridge is great for taking photos, and the scenic area periodically activates mist spraying, making it feel like a fairyland amidst the mountains and forests. The bamboo rafts are fixed on the shore, with good safety, and are a free photo spot for tourists, offering the charm of the water towns of the south. Step Continuing forward, you will reach the last viewing points, the Yan Ying Pavilion and the rope bridge. These two spots are right next to the bamboo rafts and can be viewed together. Opposite the rope bridge are the Die Shi Guan Tao and Qing Feng Pavilion, which are similar to the pebble beach and Yan Ying Pavilion; some spots are similar, and you can choose on your own. Due to the hot weather, we ended our trip after experiencing the rope bridge. Step After finishing the tour at the rope bridge, there's no need to go back the same way. According to the signs, you can quickly return to the north gate, about a 15 to 20-minute walk. The entire tour route is an arc, so there's no need to take a 'return trip'. Tips: 1. The scenic area is very suitable for photography and is also a famous wedding photography base. It is recommended to wear dresses for better photos. 2. During the hot summer, it's important to protect yourself from the sun to avoid sunburn. You can also bring some sprays to prevent mosquito bites, as there are more mosquitoes due to the abundance of trees and flowers 3. The scenic area is mainly accessible by walking, so it's recommended to travel light. Just bring some drinks. Water and supplies are available for purchase at the rope bridge area, but they are a bit more expensive.

Luo Yan Scenic Area is an important part of Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area, located on the east bank of East Lake, a national 5A-level scenic spot. The scenic area is not large, with a total area of 8.16 square kilometers, of which the land area is only 3.46 square kilometers, and the water area occupies 4.7 square kilometers. It takes 1-2 hours to tour the entire scenic area. Since 2000, the scenic area has successively built eight major landscapes such as Qinghe Ancient Bridge, Magpie Bridge Meeting, Yan Zhou Cable Bridge, Luzhou Ancient Ferry, Zhao's Garden, Ancient Tree Wonder, Yan Xi Ping Sha, Luzhou Luo Yan, mainly featuring lakeside wetlands, wetland bird watching and ancient tree communities. The tall, dense and straight water fir by the lake grows in the water. In the deep autumn, the water fir is all red. Is the water of East Lake wine, making her drunk? A plank road has been built in this water forest, and nozzles are installed in the hidden places of the bridge, intermittently spraying mist. Whenever the mist sprays out, a scene of misty mist is formed on the water under the forest. Stepping on the plank road, the feeling of being like a fairy is born. It is worth mentioning that there is also a squirrel paradise in the scenic area, which is a paradise for children. There are many peculiarly shaped, challenging but very safe amusement facilities, all of which are free! There is also a rose garden and a magpie bridge with the theme of love, and the scenery is very beautiful. It is said that every winter, the scenic area will attract a large number of migratory birds to overwinter, and a large number of cormorants nest on the pond fir on the island, which is very spectacular. Luo Yan Scenic Area is also known as Wuhan's most primitive wetland park and the most beautiful wedding photography base. The sparkling lake and the intoxicating forest in autumn reflect each other, making people feel relaxed and happy. The swaying willow branches here, the flying catkins of reeds, and the scenery of the remaining lotus on the lakeside, make people can't help but feel poetic, 'Don't say that there are few fresh crucian carp in late autumn, the cold river has more green raincoats' 'The garden master don't break the autumn lotus, leave it to the fish to cover the sunset' The verses float in my mind. Must-visit photo spots: Nine Curves Bridge (there will be water mist before five o'clock), water bamboo raft (feeling of Jiangnan Water Village and Little Guilin), Stacked Stone Guantao (seaside déjà vu) The above locations are near the north gate, after entering from the north gate, you can see the word love engraved on the stele, and you can reach it by walking along the lake on the right hand side (the pure color dress for taking pictures is very good, white, green or ancient style clothing).

Sharing my favorite cycling route You can cycle along the lake, watch sailboats, hydrogen balloons, and the Eye of East Lake, which can be said to be the essence of East Lake cycling routes! w Cycling Route: Enter from the West Gate of East Lake Greenway into Overseas Chinese Town Ecological Wetland Park → East Lake Beach → Huguang Pavilion → Eye of East Lake → Fengdu Mountain → Exit at Guangba Road: The whole journey is 15kg, cycle slowly, it takes about 2 hours w East Lake is very large, and can be divided into 4 areas for recreation: ① 'Tingtao Scenic Area': Suitable for pure walking, strolling with kids The scenery in the scenic area is very good, cycling is not allowed, Tingtao is less crowded compared to East Lake Greenway, the whole journey takes 2-3 hours to walk, Bird World and the Aquarium are nearby ② 'Moshan Scenic Area': Suitable for hiking, cycling routes Inside Moshan, you can hike, take the cable car, or slide. East Lake Greenway, located within the East Lake Scenic Area, is the first 5A-level urban scenic area greenway in China. The East Lake Greenway connects the five major scenic areas of Mo Hill, Tingtao, Luoyan, Fish Light, and Yu Family Lake, consisting of themed greenways such as Lake Center Trail, Lake Mountain Trail, Mo Hill Trail, Countryside Trail, Tingtao Trail, Forest Trail, and White Horse Trail. Walking along the Lake Center Trail with a couple of good friends, slowly moving along the lakeside plank road, watching the vibrant lotus leaves by the lake, gently caressed by the breeze, basking in the spring sunshine, one can enjoy the relaxed and exhilarating experience. It is like a soft ribbon passing through the lake, accompanied by the mirror-like lake surface and the swaying reflections of the rows of bald cypress trees.
