Very happy place
We could only spend a few hours here and wished we could have spent much longer. The house was so interesting and staff very informative. Gardens were so well cared for and wonderful plants everywhere...

The house and gardens are fascinating . The quaker Peckover family made their name opening one of the first banks, which later became Barclays. There is a good display in the house about this. However...
Gardens were nice for this time of the year but the house was closed due to repairs. Will go again later in the year. Parking can be opposite but there is also a car park a short walk away
An interesting historic house. Sadly there are not enough seats in the Reed Barn or outside seating area to cope with coach loads of visitors. How will they cope when the Rose Fair is up and running? ...
