Castle ruins and gardens

As other have said because of the castles structure we can no go in the castle at this point. However it's still worth a visit to see this castle, part of Henry Viii's Kings Device to protect England ...

Amazing view!

Amazing view! Well kept garden . Just a wee bit dissapointed that I cant go in the Castle ruin currently . I guess for the safety of people . Lovely walk to the beach from the Castle.

Fabulous Views

Shame that you can't currently access the castle ruins, but it's definitely worth a visit for the views and a wander round the small garden. There's also outdoor seating and a snack bar/cafe.

Well kept garden and great views.

An oasis when out walking. Outside eating only but you can get good snack meals and drinks. Sadly the castle ruins are gradually falling into the sea.

We visited during our walk to Portland. small garden, well maintained, nice cafeteria where to share a coffee or tea.
