Peaceful retreat within the city
Next time you drive down Evergreen Highway and have a bit of time, stop in at the hatchery and nature preserve. Peaceful, educational, and a beautiful spot to enjoy nature.
My kids enjoy this place. There is lots of hands on activities, trails, a little play area inside... lots of options. Great place to go on a rainy day.
A beautiful nature walk, fish hatchery, and educational experience all in one! Worth multiple visits at different times of the year. Great volunteers and well-maintained facilities.
