When I saw the art on the site of an elementary school that I visited at the Setouchi Triennale, I went out from the back, and immediately there was a shrine, and a pine forest spread out on the sandy beach. It seemed to be loved by the locals to pray for the safety of the voyage.

It stands toward the sea, and the sea spreads out in front of the torii gate. I stopped by during Seto Gei, but it was comfortable in a calm space.

When I visited Megijima at the Setouchi Art Festival, I visited this shrine, which was the art exhibition hall for bonsai. The stone torii gate felt very old. The precincts were very large, and the art venue was a building on the left side of the torii gate. I thought it was just right to stop by for a walk when the tourists were gone.
